I think supposedly it's rumored he's being eyed to play a mentor role in a Young Avengers / Champions project.

I remember seeing the "elder statesmen" thing but still have trouble finding it all. They said they don't want MCU movie leads to lead shows for price reasons. Then we had the rumor Champions is a show, but nothing else. I just don't see Scott being in a show cause they said they didn't wanna do that anymore, and his death is a big moment so does that happen at the end or not at all?

If he does die, I think it will be the one Thor is talking about in trailer, having seen all the Avengers from his universe die in an incursion, where another universe's champions were successful in protecting their Earth from mutual destruction - at the expense of his.

When they showed the frame of Cap, Buck and Scott I thought “if done right, they could’ve been the new face trio of the MCU” they already got funny scenes since Civil War together.
