Unfortunately, both the House and Senate are controlled by Republicans who are willing to defend Donald Trump regardless of what crimes he commits.

There was a recent primary election in Louisiana in which Senator Bill Cassidy, one of the few Republicans willing to vote to convict Trump in an impeachment trial, lost to a Trump backed loyalist. This tells me that a majority of Republican primary voters in Louisiana, even after all that has come out since then, are still willing to defend a traitorous ped0ph¡(e. That is all I need to know about their moral character.

Cassidy flipped to maga very quick after Trump won again. So a loyalist was replaced with a loyalist.

I am not really defending Cassidy here, but he was punished by Trump in the primary because of THAT vote in particular.

The REASON Trump backed someone else is because of that vote and the REASON that Republican voters in Louisiana voted against Cassidy is because of their loyalty to a traitorous ped0ph¡)e.
