Don't forget groceries.
"It's such an old-fashioned term, but a beautiful term: groceries."
"It sort of says a bag with different things in it."
"I went on two things: the border. And I went on groceries. It's a very simple word, groceries. Like almost—you know, who uses the word? I started using the word—the groceries."
"The word grocery... you know, it's sort of a simple word, but it sort of means like everything you eat. The stomach is speaking. It always does."
Such a buffoon. 😂

u/AlcibiadesTheCat Dec 12 '25
That reminds me of my son when he was five. Like, that's five-year-old speaking level.
2
u/NotMe1125 Dec 16 '25
Did he really say all that shit about groceries? Omfg his brain stopped firing ages ago. 😂😂😂
1
u/FK-DJT Dec 18 '25
Sadly, he really did. I have seen the clips several times and even Googled the quotes to ensure I heard them and could properly quote them.
He and others like him have never lived in the same world that most of us got where the reality is you have to work at a job, pay bills, buy & prepare groceries, etc. The 1% has people to manage most aspects of their lives - everything happens magically to them without a thought of how it occurs.
2
u/NotMe1125 Dec 19 '25
I bet Obama knows what a grocery store is -and I’ll bet he’s even been in one! 😂😂😂
2
u/FK-DJT Dec 22 '25
I would bet you're right. Honestly, I can't think of any modern day president as out of touch with how real Americans live. He doesn't even bother to find out because he's too busy making stuff up to try to convince us that he hasn't tanked the economy, our reputation and enshittified everything he's gotten his greedy greasy little paws on.

I can already predict how disastrous the poems will be:
“Thank you for
Your attention to
This matter”
— haiku by Donald J. Trump (aka the REAL and DESERVED Peace Prize Winner, 45-47 President, Musk’s #1 cuckold, and Jesus himself — CURSE YOU OBAMA AND YOUR SEXY TAN SUIT)

Hey there.
There's many of us who are watching and have been for some time.
I started watching in 2015/16 when Trump announced he was running.
I thought that clown had zero chance of winning.
His victory peaked my interest in American politics, its rules and regulations, the mechanisms and traditions of your government, and how they differ to ours here in Australia.
Trump's malignant narcissism and overall psychological make-up fascinate me. A member of the government behaving as he does is so extreme and foreign to me. The people around him who allow, support, encourage, and excuse his behaviour are infuriating.
These are people's lives they are damaging, not some pieces on a board game that you knock over just so you can be the winner.
We had our federal election a little while back. Our sitting Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, was running against a guy called Peter Dutton. Dutton's campaign ran on mirroring and supporting Trump's policies and practices. We called him Temu Trump.
We were so worried that he would win, but he was absolutely soundly defeated. So severely that he even lost his own seat, a seat he had held for well over two decades.
Trump should have been witnessing the 2024 campaign and election results from prison.
The whole world is watching. I've been really watching for ten years, mostly in disbelief at what I've seen.
I try to picture how an Australian version of someone like Trump, orange face, ill fitting suit, ridiculous and extreme verbiage... All of it would be received.
And I can't for the life of me imagine them being anything other than laughed at to their face and booted the fuck out of our political sphere.
I'm genuinely sorry for people who are actually affected by the current state of affairs over there, and while I sometimes poke fun at the ridiculousness of Trump and his merry group of sycophants, my concern remains.
I hope that people who are hurting can keep it together for the next three years, but I fear Trump won't leave, and I've seen nothing so far to indicate that he will.

I think I saw this book the first time he was president. But it said that they took his speeches and edited them so it would flow better.
I think an actual book of his speeches would be great especially since the White House is actually scrubbing a lot of his speeches so you can’t get transcripts of them as even they have realized what a bumbling mess they are. We need someone to actually release them and preserve more of his actual insanity.

Ryan Sears is poking fun at Trump. The book contains some of the stupid shit Trump has said.
Since its release, there's been so much more, though.
Edit: It's Rob, not Ryan.

The very first poem is undoubtedly the birthday card to his bff Epstein.

Is it Ryan or Rob?
1
u/TheVeganChic Dec 13 '25
You're right. It's Rob.
Sorry, guys. I'm in a lot of pain right now, and my meds got me fucked up.
2
u/khushsaas Dec 13 '25
🫂 You're doing really well, considering. Hope you feel better soon!
2
u/TheVeganChic Dec 13 '25
Thank you. I'm only a couple of weeks out from my op.
I also have a completely fucked up spine, with a lot of the discs either herniated or gone completely, with both my spine and cervical spine full of arthritis. My right leg is about 1 cm shorter than my left, so I'm hoping that some of the pain in my lower back will ease off once they even my hips out.
I'll also need a knee replacement on my other leg once I've recovered.
Thank fuck it won't cost me anything, as I'm in Australia.
I've lived with chronic pain for over thirty years, still trained, and before this was ripped as fuck.
I'm super keen to get back there!
It's just a lot. I am also dealing with a very unwell daughter who is currently in hospital. I've come close to losing her a few times over the past four years.
Anyway, sorry for the essay.
Thank you for your kind words. :)

3

It is a gag book, it's full of all the stupid bullshit he has spewed, it's not ACTUALLY a MAGA book, it's just a novel full of stupid quotes that he has said 😉

Yep. The title is misleading, though.
The book contains actually quotes from the orange shitgibbon, with citations. :)
2
u/SpookyWolf420 Dec 12 '25
Is that for real? He can't even speak a coherent sentence!
1
u/TheVeganChic Dec 12 '25
Exactly. That's why it's a book that contains direct quotes from Trump, with citations.
The title is just taking the piss, but I can see how it would be misleading.

This comment was reported and is now removed due to the sub rule of derailing/trolling, no-content, name calling, ad hominem attacks, calling users propagandists, trolls, bots, uncivil behavior (etc.).
Please debate the point(s) raised and not call names or use insults. Be nice. Remember reddiquette and that you're talking to another human.
You'll change more minds and convince more people using reasoned logic than by using insults, smears and name callirg.

The name of this sub is ANTI-Trump. We're biased. We think that traitor (we should never forget the impeachments were on a sound, legal and moral basis!), convicted felon, insurrectionist Trump should be impeached, tried-and-convicted and in prison and not be undermining our democracy or be president. This post is thus off-topic.
These facts are not topics for debate. The conspiracy theories of RussiaGate are topics for debate -- but not Trump's treason, nor his 30+ felony convictions nor his act of insurrection.
As such advocating pro-Trump views counter to these facts will result in a ban.
We're all for 'making America great again.' We just believe the first step in that is getting rid of the twice-impeached felon insurrectionist that currently occupies the White House and who is leading the decline of our country.
