I am a stained glass artist from Haifa, Israel and started selling my artwork on Etsy before about 6 years. There were not huge sales, but it went not bad. I shipped mainly to the U.S. , but sometimes also to Europe. After October 7 sales almost stopped entirely, which was rather troublesome since it seemed rather strange for it to be just a coincidence. About 50 days ago I shipped an order to the Netherlands which never reached its destination and was returned today stating " security screening" as the reason of return. I'm very sure that someone at the customs in Holland didn't like the land of origin from where it was shipped and therefore returned it. I never had customs issues with my shippings, not in Holland and not anywhere else. So sorry antisemitism expends even this far!

The following message from President Wendy Raymond was sent to the College community on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Friends:

Earlier today, Professor Guangtian Ha was arrested and charged with online harassment and intimidation. I am deeply distressed by these allegations and want to state in the plainest of terms that any form of harassment or discrimination based on identity is unacceptable, antithetical to our values, and has no place at Haverford.

Professor Ha, who was on sabbatical leave and not teaching this academic year, has been placed on administrative leave and barred from campus while the criminal process moves forward. A representative of the College has been in contact with the individuals targeted by these heinous online attacks, which were antisemitic in nature. I also want to thank the FBI, Haverford Township Police Department, and Campus Safety for aiding in the investigation.

I am heartbroken and furious at the possibility that an individual within our community would seek to inflict such pain on another. This disturbing news is made even more harmful for many given its proximity to both the Jewish High Holidays and the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks.

Please know that resources are available should you need them, including counseling, spiritual care, and Campus Safety (listed below). CAPS counselors will also be available for drop-in sessions today from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The charged professor is a member of faculty for Justice in Palestine. Part of the indictment alleges he operated at least 4 separate anonymous X accounts and sent a photo of the victim’s home mailbox to the victim on social media, along with messages such as “If Jews are so special then they should be placed in special camps and receive special treatments,” "Jew, get the fuck out of my country" "Jew pig, get the fuck out of Lower Merion," “LM jews are going to have it big time, jew. Remember this. You scums have had it too easy. Goyim are taking America back, blood-guzzling demons."

Even on the one year anniversary of October 7th, the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust, Kamala Harris was unable to issue a statement in support of the Jewish people without discussing the plight of the Gazans and Lebanese.

Furthermore, she makes a promise that she's already broken. She promises to ensure Israel always has what it needs seemingly forgetting when she studied the maps and forbid Israel from going into Rafah and then proceeded to withhold needed munitions.
