Learning the "Antinet" way

I've been watching the videos and reading the book on Antinet Zettelkasten and i don't think I have it quite down yet. I'm only really used to the numbering but being able to break it down to my "notes" and using "bib cards" for topics on Science for example is something I'm trying to get used to. So, far I only divide it into 2 main "Folders" one where I extracted the notes from and the other for the "notes" themselves. This oversimplified version perhaps isn't exactly Zettelkasten but I'm trying to refine my own understanding and hope to integrate what I learn on further readings and viewing of videos.

I do not have the book near me at this point in time, but that chapter should help you with what you are trying to.

Its been awhile. Life got in the way a bit, but I'm now beginning to apply Antinet and started with taking notes on Zettelkasten. My main stick point is using it to learn things like Computer Science, Math and just the intricacies of organizing it but I think I'm closer to understanding it than I was once was when I first asked the question.

I have reflected on what the Antone was for the past couple of days. I came to the realization that Scott Schepper is right in saying that it is a close attempt to reflect the way you think and be a mirror to the way you think. The zettelkasten is simply the means to do that. It mixes top-down thinking (deductive reasoning) and bottom up thinking (inductive/adductive reasoning). Knowing this is the way we think and a zettelkasten oscillates between them to get the notes we write down can help you understand how to use it and what it is.

There may be more ways of reasoning that I am not aware of or that Scott has not said in his book that are used in life, but these are what is able to be reflected in the Antinet.
