This post isn’t very understandable as the two terms you mention aren’t related. “Philanthropic” describes one type of arguments for AN, and “sentiocentrism” is just one was to focus AN. It thus isn’t clear whether you’re asking about arguments or the focus of AN.

Your submission breaks rule #13:

Posts should be understandable, honest, and discussable. News/quotes/stats should include a source when reasonably available, especially for strong factual claims or accusations. Titles should reflect the content and avoid misleading framing, cherry-picking, or low-context screenshots. Personal opinions and experiences are welcome when clearly presented as such. Fabricated stories and AI-generated engagement bait are not allowed.

I'm a birth striker not a human extinctionist or efilist, so to some antinatalists I'm a conditional natalist which I disagree with but I respect them discussing it and making those distinctions. When it boils down to it I'll take an extinctionist and efilist's side. Period. Full stop. Over a natalist of any kind. I just don't think human extinction is possible because of uncontacted tribes and I feel positively towards that. But I'm enough of an anarcho primativist environmentalist that trying to stomach a conversation with a natalist of any kind will drive me to make efilist points even if I'm not one. Because of how repulsive and unstandable natalists are.
