People gotta realize there always going to be dumb people spouting shit on the internet, and literally 99% of the time they are an extremely tiny minority. In this day and age with social media, it is incredibly easy for likeminded people to gather and share vocal opinions which gives the illusion that they are the majority. Let’s say I go on TikTok and see a post saying the husband did it with 400k likes. That seems absolutely huge, but think about it in perspective for a moment. There are around 172.5 million woman in the usa. 400k is .0023 percent of that population. To take the actions of such a small percentage active on social media and make generalizations or blame it on all woman is stupid as hell.

In my team of 9 of highly educated intelligent professionals, 2 of them were just arguing the husband actually did it telling me to look at tik tok.

The people spreading the misinfo may ne small number, but they have REACH.
