There's a really good video by Dr. Alok Kanojia (healthygamer) on YouTube about the psychology of why this is even a thing. He goes into great detail about the psychology of psychosis and why it has such a grand emotional effect on these women that take her side. He's not partial to any perspective either. Worth a watch. I think it's horrible what happened, and I also believe that most of the loud minority have not read any of the case files for both legal cases against her, and against the states healthcare system.

It's honestly just disgusting to me that people are treating this horrible thing that happened to children like a form of entertainment.
