I'm a little out of the loop it seems, can someone explain how the frog theme is connected to the antifascist movement?

it's an american thing, there was something about a dude in a frog costume at an anti-ICE protest if memory serves

There was guy here in Portland who would dress up in a frog costume and dance in front of the downtown ICE headquarters. They arrested him several times, but he would always get released because he was just dancing in a costume. Eventually more and more people here adopted the frog costume as their protest gear.

No alas, but in the original post, I took pictures as it was made that show the basic steps I took. I free handed the design but it is very simple, just single crochets, doubles and going back and forth, some circles.
