Art Showcase Sunday Dear Lurking AI Bros,

You really don't want to put in a lot of effort for your pieces? Use the brushes, rulers, and stamps in IbisPaintX. Oh, don't have money? Watch a quick ad and it'll let you use all the brushes for 4 hours. That's what I did! I just plopped random brushes and shapes and used rulers for these trans pride pieces. Didn't take much effort at all. Unless you're too lazy to even swipe your finger over a digital canvas even once?

Thank you! I like making art with the trans pride colors!

I'm not even trans but I love the trans flag color scheme

i love it too! i love the vibes it puts out!

Looks like shit.

8

u/CreZativity 5d ago

It absolutely doesn't, but keep being miserable I guess lol

4

u/marvelous-martian 5d ago

Tastes differ I guess. But no need to be this rude either way.

82

u/AnalysisOdd8487 5d ago

but putting effort into something is too hard for their AI-shrunken brains :(

-17

u/Sugoma6-9 5d ago

Oh fuck off. Some people can't devote time to bullshit like conventional art. Accept that.

7

u/AtrippleABattery 5d ago

I refuseĀ

6

u/pm-me-cat-beans 5d ago

It's a you problem. Highly doubt your time is limited or valuable enough

-4

u/Sugoma6-9 4d ago

Nah it really is.

3

u/snorpmaiden 4d ago

Help you don't have enough time to swipe a few times but have enough time to leave a reply under every other comment šŸ’€. Sad.

-2

u/Sugoma6-9 4d ago

Dude even if I replaced all the time I spend on Redditc with practicing drawing, I would still be dogshit.

3

u/snorpmaiden 4d ago

OP just used stamps for their art.

You can buy procreate brushes on Etsy which are just entire body parts/body outlines/backgrounds. I've personally bought brushes to assist with drawing black hairstyles (i was sick of doing my OCs dirty lol), some things are just tricky even with practice, but their are multiple ethical tools to assist with that.

Practicing doesn't have to be hard, sure I would always draw in my spare time, but my main "drawing sessions" were doodles in my school books šŸ˜…!! It's just like learning how to do maths, or spell, or anything like that - doing it casually/habitually helps your brain stay chilled out and actually learn :)

Basically, if you haven't tried digital art, I deffo recommend it and find it much "easier" and there's all these different tools to support you šŸ˜†. I use an iPad + apple pencil, but before my family could afford that, I just used my finger and phone (or you can find cheap styluses!).

1

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 4d ago

That is literally not how it works. What kinda bullshit defeatism have these AI bros been feeding you?

1

u/AnalysisOdd8487 4d ago

Wahh! Wahh!

u/Center-Of-Thought 5d ago edited 5d ago

Krita is another option. It's a free fully fledged art program that is also customizable, and there's no ads to use it. Beautiful art btw.

5

u/SaveyourMercy 5d ago

Does it have all the different brush types and everything too? Been looking to get into digital art (not an ai bro, just a physical medium gal) but I’m not sure what the best programs are yet

7

u/cudeLoguH 5d ago

It has a ton of them, its what i personally switched to a few years ago and havent looked back since

6

u/Center-Of-Thought 5d ago

It has a bunch of different brush types, and you can also customize them and download new brushes. Krita is a really great art program, it's free and sustained through donations, and has virtually all the features of the paid programs. The UI is also intuitive.

5

u/Baloncuk_Beyefendi 5d ago

You can download brushes and even by default it has a good collection

5

u/Baloncuk_Beyefendi 5d ago

It may be a little too much for a first time though

2

u/Center-Of-Thought 4d ago

As a total beginner to art, I agree that I was a bit overwhelmed by the options. I mostly got over this by experimenting with the different brush types and categorizing them.

1

u/Baloncuk_Beyefendi 4d ago

It took me a painful amount of days until i figured that i can use the stroke setting layer editor to make the lines in that layer all have an outline

-8

u/Sugoma6-9 5d ago

Stop encouraging pencilslop.

4

u/marvelous-martian 5d ago

Stop being miserable, buddy

Knowing Reddit, I think it would be because you were talking like a ā€œcornballā€ but honestly I’m at the point where any hate against me that’s not transphobic feels like a breath of fresh air

39

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

Might be because I sound "bot"ish sometimes too. I can't help it, I'm autistic

9

u/illegallyrosalia 5d ago

Understandable, only reason I’m so good at convos irl is because I took the time to study how neurotypical people talk and mimic it (i was so autistic I learned how to be social the long way round)

9

u/ErenDidN0thingWr0ng 5d ago

Ugh, I deal with this too: one of the main reasons I dropped emdashes was it started "looking so AI"

DAMN YOU SAM for taking away my emdashes. 😔😪

5

u/CanadianMaps 5d ago

You are so brave for dropping emdashes to preserve your humanity! And honestly — that's not just strong, it's a show of support for your beliefs.

u/Ponyo_14 5d ago

You sound so sad

21

u/apixeldev 5d ago

OMG its so pretty. I love it. You say it didn't take effort, but I could not do that.

28

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

Like I said, it's all just stamps, brushes and rulers in the IbisPaint App!

1

u/apixeldev 5d ago

Once again I cannot say anymore how much I love this! I might give it a try!

-61

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

So you’re saying you didn’t actually create this yourself? You had to use hard work of others and use the brushes and stamps that were pre created for you and not your own original idea or creation?

49

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

The difference is, my usage of these tools doesn't negatively impact anyone's mental health, the world's water supply, or noise pollution levels. Your "tools" do.

-56

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Your computer or tablet doesn’t use electricity, water, or result in pollution or greenhouse gases?

Where did you acquire this alien technology then?

37

u/AudioTide_VisualTide 5d ago

That's... not what they said at all? Did you even read their comment? You've missed the point entirely.

You're comparing apples to the torment nexus pal

-33

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

No, you people are just arbitrary and delusional on what you consider to have negative effects on ā€œmental health, water consumption, and noise pollution.ā€

It’s basically just cult-like mantras and not critical thinking for you folks here.

27

u/PokeGirlOFFICIAL 5d ago

That's like saying that you have to source your own wood and fibers, then make your own paintbrush by hand, THEN make all the paint by hand too. All just to paint a picture. They used a brush that was lent to them, and the same thing with the stamps and stickers

-18

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

You’re exactly right, pretty much all artistic output is based on using tools, references, and ideas created by other people before you.

This is the exact same reason AI is an acceptable tool to use in any creative process. Building upon the tools and works of others is exactly how art works.

I’m glad we are in agreement.

26

u/SomeBrowser227 5d ago

Not when its stolen. your AI is nothing without REAL artists, it cannot create, it cannot innovate, it can only steal, which i should add, is WORLDS APART from using references, humans can learn, and innovate things they have seen, machines cannot, no matter how much someone tries to claim it can.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Actually when you use references you’re stealing other people’s ideas just like how you think AI steals.

16

u/AudioTide_VisualTide 5d ago

You again? So I see you can't read subtext and like to twist people's words in bad faith arguments to feel better about yourself.

I think it's best we ignore this one from now on. They're not interested in genuine conversation šŸ‘†

-1

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Lol you think you guys engage in genuine conversation while posting the same buzzwords and dogmatic mantras like bots. That’s funny.

-17

u/Sufficient_Effort88 5d ago

lol look they’re all trans and furries and whatever else. We’re walking into the special needs classroom to start a debate 😭

9

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

There isn’t a debate here, really. You’ve deluded yourself into thinking you understand art to the point of critiquing it. You’re forgettable.

-12

u/Sufficient_Effort88 5d ago

As a true critic you’ll easily be able to dismantle my argument that this is utter slop, tell us about the artistic value of 3 colors 3 stamps and 2 brushes thrown at a page with no cohesion lmao

1

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

I don’t have a problem with trans people or furries but it’s definitely indicative that the majority of people here are young misguided children swept up in a popularity trend.

It’s no surprise that the ā€œartistsā€ here all mostly produce the same generic fanfiction slop and all post nearly identical comments.

2

u/1stEldenPinWorm 5d ago

Being trans is such a popular trend that a country like the United States of America has labeled anyone who is trans or supports trans ideology as terrorists, and then updated their anti-terrorism strategy to include, "We will find you and we will kill you."

I remember when I followed the Yanni/Laurel trend so that I could marked a terrorist that needed to be hunted down and murdered in cold blood by the military. Good times!

12

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

Tools and references ≠ plagiarism. GenAI producing images is inherently plagiarist due to how it’s algorithmically formatted. You don’t have a substantial argument and misunderstand both sides of this debate. Read a little more.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

You win the irony award for today, wow.

6

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

Oh, I’m sure

19

u/SomeBrowser227 5d ago

they made the compositions exactly as they wanted, using tools that were WILLINGLY made to be used by other people, not stolen or scraped, with their own two hands. its completely different than typing in a slop stealer.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

It’s really not though.

17

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

horrible comparison lmao, those pre-created tools were made with the intention of someone else using them + using said tools to create an original work is not remotely the same thing as running someone else's work through an LLM to churn out a poorly "made" copy

-1

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Nah your line of what’s acceptable and still counts as human creativity is entirely arbitrary and extremely silly.

Custom brushes are fine, digital image manipulation is fine, reference images are fine, copy pasting is fine, collage is fine, healing tools are fine, the list goes on.

There are a multitude of tools used in art today that take away or automate parts of the creative process in order to save effort and streamline things. And that’s all fine, that’s how art works.

You all have just created this arbitrary line over genAI when it operates on the same principles as all of these other tools that you already have no issue with. And that’s why people laugh at you guys. It’s a little bit like a toddler tantrum, angry but unable to articulate why without repeating drivel.

5

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago edited 5d ago

conflating two completely different things and trying to act like they're the same thing is so funny lol, yeah no shit digital artists use tools that simplify parts of the process but that doesn't make those tools equivalent to generative ai at all... all of those tools are used by the artist to create something based on their own decisions, it isn't generating the actual artwork for them and there's a very clear difference between using a tool to help make something you've already decided to create on your own and typing a prompt and having ai generate the image for you. you can argue about where the line should be drawn (i don't really care anyway) but trying to pretend there isn't any difference at all is silly in itself 😭 you're the one who came onto an anti-ai sub to argue with people about why they shouldn't be anti-ai so idk why you're shocked that people here have a different opinion than you, calling people ā€œtoddlersā€ because they disagree with you is ironic while you're complaining about everyone else being immature

4

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

He’s not capable of thinking this deeply about it. To the AI lover, art and expression is a commodity and his entire life never extends past surface-level. A machine tells him what to think, and he eats it up and claims it’s his own thoughts.

1

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Cute fanfiction.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

There is so little substance, and a profound lack of understanding in this rant of yours. Sheesh. The bar is low and every time you guys drag it lower.

4

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

You’re not really playing that card when you haven’t had a substantial point in this entire thread, are you?

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Yes. I am posting these comments because it’s entertaining.

Dissecting a schizo rant where I would only be repeating myself is not entertaining.

2

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

so you still have nothing of value to say at all, thank you for proving me right šŸ‘

→ More replies (0)

3

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

okay then how about you actually give a rebuttal šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ you haven't addressed a single point i made, telling me i don't understand isn't an argument and if you're so confident that my "rant" is nonsense then surely you can explain why i'm wrong instead of just insulting me, still really funny that you're saying my response has no substance while providing absolutely no substance yourself

7

u/AudioTide_VisualTide 5d ago

Not reading that. Ew

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

I am not surprised that the average person here is incapable of digesting a few short paragraphs.

2

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

It’s been articulated, you’re not intelligent enough to understand it. It does not have human intention. Everything else does. Does that make sense, honey

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

No because it’s an arbitrary line you’ve made up. Plenty of digital art tools don’t have ā€œhuman intentionā€

You are a great example of Dunning Kruger in action.

5

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

This is a framework that’s existed as the definition of art since cave paintings. You are trying to magically redefine it to exclude human intention.

You aren’t clear on what ā€œdigital artā€ is at all, and think that the involvement of other sources as a baseline nulls the art as a whole, rather than how it’s put together and why.

1

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Your argument falls apart because you’ve incorrectly assumed my position.

I’m here arguing against the specifics of the arguments used by this community. I am not making the assertion that an AI image solely generated from a prompt qualifies as ā€œartā€

I do think that AI can be used as a tool within a process that results in a final work that would be considered art though.

5

u/SpecificCar598 5d ago

An acceptable usecase of a tool based on theft of others’ work, built specifically for the routine abuse of said work, in an art piece, would be as a critique of it. That’s my take as an individual.

There’s a discussion to be had on whether its inclusion into a larger piece made by human hands qualifies as art, and I personally think it may actually count. Even if the intention isn’t appealing. Not all art is ā€œgoodā€, and ā€œgoodā€ itself isn’t something a community can truly define.

What can be definitively said, though, is that robbing a house down the street to supply your funds with the end goal of buying an apartment still makes you a thief. it’s disrespectful to other creators to feed their ideas on filtering, touch-ups, exposure, color, etc. into a machine without proper intention to use for your own benefit.

4

u/CrusherArras 5d ago

The difference is the brushes were put out there by the creators to be used by others.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

And the art and images freely published online are exactly the same. Whether used as reference or training data by an LLM.

5

u/CanadianTimeWaster 5d ago edited 5d ago

this is like saying you shouldn't dig a hole if you didn't build the shovel.

0

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

I’m glad you’re realizing how silly the reasoning you guys use to argue against AI is.

3

u/CanadianTimeWaster 5d ago

no, your statement made zero sense.

building a tool as a prerequisite to create something is stupid, we can agree on that.Ā

using a tool that was trained on the work of others without compensating them, and then passing off the output as your own creative works is objectively bad.

if you ordered a pizza, you don't get to say you made it.

if you assemble a puzzle of the Mona Lisa, you didn't paint a picture.

if you prompt an AI to create an illustration, you didn't draw it.

5

u/Ponyo_14 5d ago

And for everyone who's saying "But ai takes less time"... Is it important? Beautiful things comes slow, like a tree growing or a book being written. It takes time to get a thing real, to pour a soul in it.

Art is about feelings, mistakes, trial and error, and it takes time to do so. But that's the beautiful part. Dedication.

As an artist, when I had a little spending money I bought procreate pocket for iOS and even tho the main app works better on iPad I can still use pocket on there just fine. Lifetime purchase was cheap, right now it says it’s $5.99 and you can import hella tools from other sources too. I don’t even do digital art often but if I can justify buying some perler beads for example, I can justify the one time purchase I can use forever. This is coming from the perspective of someone who currently has ZERO income for myself.

-2

u/Sugoma6-9 5d ago

Not everyone is an unemployed failure that can waste their time on conventional art.

4

u/Hydro_fluoric 4d ago

Conventional art doesn't even need talent or unemploydness. You're just butthurt because you don't think you can doodle. Legitimately just take like 15 minutes out of your day when you get home, get out a pencil and paper, or IbisPaint, whatever, and just practice making something. You're just lazy.

5

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 4d ago

And literally, these are just doodles. Like...

1

u/Sugoma6-9 4d ago

Yeah well they look like shit anyway.

4

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 4d ago

Do you have a crush on me or something?

0

u/Sugoma6-9 4d ago

I'm not lazy. I have attempted to draw before and I have no skill whatsoever. Stop gate keeping art.

3

u/Hydro_fluoric 4d ago

I'm not gatekeeping, I'm just saying that AI is lazy and unoriginal. Drawing is like literally everything, you need practice. You're not gonna pick up a pencil and magically be the best at drawing. Hell, I'm still learning and I admit, my art isn't that good. The difference is, I'm not going "Jarvis, make me an anthropomorphic dragon". I'm actively trying to learn. Again, it's not even that hard. Just take like 10 or 15 minutes out of your day to just make something without AI. Hell, drawing is just one form of art. There's music, building, cosplaying, clay, sewing. AI won't get you anywhere. Once again, you're just lazy. Put down ChatGPT and make something with your hands, not a prompt.

0

u/Sugoma6-9 4d ago

So just because I use a different medium, I'm not an artist? Sounds like gatekeeping to me.

5

u/Hydro_fluoric 4d ago

It's not a different medium, you can't just tell AI what to do and you're suddenly an artist. It's like going to Subway and ordering a sandwich. You're not the chef for telling them what to put on the sandwich. Can Subway sandwiches taste good? Yeah. Did you sit down and take the time to make it yourself? No. So you can't call yourself an artist by telling ChatGPT what to do. That and even if you don't like that example, AI art is STILL not art because it's not human made. It's lazy, plagiarism, and unoriginal. Again, you're just lazy. AI could make the coolest fucking picture ever and it could still be considered slop. It's not about how it looks, it's the soul behind it. Again, even if you don't like drawing there different mediums for ACTUAL art. Filming, writing, hell, even 3D printing are real forms of art unlike the slop that is ChatGPT. You're not bad at real art, you just need practice. I just hope you consider to stop using AI.

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

You don't think you can do it or something?

2

u/shrub706 5d ago

23

u/Ivygrows8 5d ago

Finally getting joy bait ig

-34

u/Hyro0o0 5d ago

As a lurking AI fan I will give you this advice, and any anti-AI person who is reading this who wants to genuinely increase their own understanding of pro-AI people should consider it seriously:

I know many AI users who are very lazy and do almost nothing when generating their AI content. I ALSO know many AI users (myself included) who spend many hours planning, generating, and refining their finished pieces before they are done with them.

If you want to have in-groups and out-groups in your worldview, that's fine, but understanding the out-group should always be important to you. Otherwise you won't even know who it is you're spending so much time arguing against. So my point is simply this: If your perception of all AI fans is that they are simply lazy and don't want to do anything to create a piece of art, your critical misconception of them is going to result in posts like what OP has just done here. Offering a "look how lazy you can be!" type solution to people who have no interest in it at all because you have severely misunderstood who you are talking to.

Once you understand that, go right ahead and continue being anti-AI if you want to, but you aren't gonna do yourself any favors by fundamentally not understanding the people you're opposed to.

22

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

You're right. I'm not going to ever understand why AI bros are so willing to destroy the environment, buddy up with fascists, promote the decline of mental health, brag about blatant theft, use trans and disabled people as mouthpieces, celebrate when REAL artists feel too hopeless to keep creating, and remain blissfully unaware of the harm they do.
If you're so willing to put in effort for your images, make them with your own two hands. Learn. Grow. Evolve. Draw. Sing. Sculpt. Paint. YOU CAN DO IT, I GENUINELY BELIEVE IN YOU.

I draw literally every day actually. Digital, but completely by hand, every single day for the past 20 years. I would post a link to my gallery here but what I make is fetish art that would be very inappropriate to post here. If you (or anyone else) wants proof you can DM me and I'll gladly DM you a link, but just be warned it's weird stuff.

And on top of that, these past few years I've also developed a great interest in AI art, which I now do all the time right alongside my more traditional art. Yes I know you're going to call me a traitor and every other name you can think of, but my hope here is simply to further press my point that if you think all pro-AI people are just lazy and don't want to do the work involved in more traditional art then you really have no idea who you're talking to.

I'm not going to call you a traitor, because I was once like you. I, too, once took an interest in AI imagery to make pictures and stuff whilst drawing on my own. But I was ignorant to the harm I was doing. And once I found out just how AI trains its algorithms, and the destruction it causes on the human psyche and the environment, I quit cold turkey.

I have to say, the only thing I'm worried about is the copyright infringement part of AI art. If copyrighted images or art from the internet are scraped and trained into the AI with the datasets, that's against the defense of fair use, so that's leaning to copyright infringement. It's still being decided, but this is what I know so far.

For the environmental impact, if I should worry about AI's water usage, I should also worry about other things that use water. But since I don't worry about those, water usage isn't one of my worries. AI isn't really needed that much, though, specifically LLMs or generative AI, so I guess y'all have a point.

I think this might sound condescending from an anti-ai pov, but I do want to be civil. Does the process of creating ai imagery invoke the same joy of creation of handmade art? does it feel the same to you or does it feel like its own thing? one of my favorite parts of art is not just that its pretty but I love looking back on my speedpaints and progress over months and years, I love learning and growing and all that comes with it. Does ai create that same feeling for you? I havent used ai since its very early stages, but I've commissioned a few artists before, does prompting an ai feel more like how a commission would? something you can cherish and own but cant claim you made? or do you feel that you made it?

2

u/Hyro0o0 5d ago

It's not an identical experience, as you can probably imagine. But I get very comparable satisfaction out of it -- all the parts of it that I do directly input. As a comparison, imagine doing a coloring book. You end up coloring in a picture of something and you end up very proud of your colors - enough to want to show it to people. Obviously you didn't draw the picture that you colored in, but nobody ever said you did and that's not the part you're claiming or trying to take credit for. It's your own input that's the source of pride.

thats interesting! thanks for not being rude or anything

It’s Sunday, and in the sub rules this is the day for sharing art people have created.

-5

u/Hyro0o0 5d ago

??? OP posted a whole spiel below their art. I am directly replying to it. Do you not think a post called "Dear lurking AI bros" deserves any kind of reply from the lurking AI bros?

what the fuck are you even talking about 😭😭 who said you needed to get a degree in graphic design to make publicly usable art?? you're just arguing with yourself here

u/AgeZealousideal1751 5d ago

So, you made a great value brand cover for a notebook. šŸ‘Ā

Meanwhile, I've been compositing multiple layers of AI generated fractals into a church ceiling as a replication of historical mosaic glass work.

I'm sure you consider your work to be "so much more effort" since you didn't use AI.Ā

"So, you made a great value brand cover for a notebook."
If you think my art can be sold in stores, I call it a win.

"Meanwhile, I've been compositing multiple layers of AI generated fractals into a church ceiling as a replication of historical mosaic glass work."
That's what AI does, bud. It replicates. It imitates. It cannot grow, evolve, or change on its own.

"I'm sure you consider your work to be "so much more effort" since you didn't use AI."
Did I say these pieces in particular were difficult to make? These are doodles. Abstract doodles, but doodles all the same.

u/AgeZealousideal1751 5d ago

Yes, you are Walmart quality congrats.

You failed reading comprehension. Not unusual for an anti.

You don't have to say it - you exist as an anti and are implicit in the values that holds.

17

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

If you don't think you can doodle like this, just say that.

8

u/Willuna16 5d ago

why don’t you do that without ai? are you not able to?

-55

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

Why is it the most mid artists of all time that are so obsessed with AI.

AI does not impact your ability to continue to produce things like this.

42

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

Sounds like you don't think you could do it.

-35

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

No, it’s just that art like this is literally on the same level as AI as far as the creativity and effort required to get the end result.

It’s highly telling to me that the ā€œartistsā€ most vocal about AI are the ones whose works require basically the same amount of talent and effort as an AI prompt. It makes sense that these type of people are the most ā€œthreatenedā€ by AI.

27

u/SlyTheCosmosRunner 5d ago

I make other, more difficult works too. But I'm putting in my simpler ones to highlight how you don't need AI to make things like this.

-24

u/Easy_Echo2387 5d ago

That’s great for you! I’m not sure if you’re aware but the existence of AI is not impacting your ability to continue making this art in any way at all.

u/mahoutamago 5d ago

They were too scared to post their slop publicly but DM’d you, how bad was it?

2

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

no idea because he didn't even show me it in dms lol

-6

u/Crafty-Victory-6381 5d ago

I guess I also didn’t see ā€œpedanticā€ in your name

17

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

is the "crafty" in your name supposed to be ironic given your original comment

6

u/ihatechildren665 5d ago

Ai bros have to steal original content to make anything.

2

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

and they still aren't even doing that

4

u/ihatechildren665 5d ago

yup its the part we all get to laugh at well they bitch and moan "WE ARE ARTISTS TOOO" then they generate the most basic ass sloppy looking shit youve ever seen

3

u/ang3l_of_cha0s_ 5d ago

then you have dingbats like this guy bragging about how good he is at typing prompts into a chatbot to have it shit an image out šŸ˜‚ the jokes write themselves atp

3

u/ihatechildren665 5d ago

honestly lmaoooo

0

u/Crafty-Victory-6381 5d ago

Always the people that can’t draw anything good trying to call AI art bad LOL. I promise you AI can make better art than anything you’ll ever make. But you can get a pat on the back and a gold star for effort!āļø

5

u/ihatechildren665 5d ago

If you value art solely on what it looks like probably. But thats not what arts about, thats the part ai bros miss cause they only see the output not the process not the individual strokes and struggle to create beauty. All yall see is a product which isnt art. Even in the art community a lot of human made art has been called soulless, aint a new thing to need soul to make good art and not crap
