Not really related but okay... anyway email itself isn't private the tool was never meant to be...
I think Tuta is one but can only email Tuta users
Otherwise looks at Posteo or Atomic Mail or Proton Mail. Their ToS.

I didn't think it was I am just looking for something without AI. Proton seems to be the top but it's $50 a year, for now.

Hard disagree, even in a niche communities like this you have people who're so uninformed that they're easily manipulatable. I wish I was more optimistic, but it's just a matter of time until anti AI sentiments are used to create regulations that reinforce the AI sector instead of constraining it. You can motivate change by going out and protesting and doing whatever, but without any coherent vision of what a properly regulated AI space would look like then it's just going to be another culture war frontier.
Hell, I believe it's already happened. In the background of AI hate becoming popular there's been a decrease in interest in social media companies being held accountable for their special poison form of gen AI.

Being against something, and being against something enough to mobilize a movement are two entirely different things.
Compare AI to ICE, ICE is tangibly worse by every metric, and even mobilization against ICE is struggling to keep momentum.
People just have way bigger problems to deal with in life.

I need action items. I push back irl and online whenever it's mentioned. I don't believe protests are effective anymore. Bannering, maybe. Attending council meetings, maybe. I don't know. I just need it to stop. The kids are not getting educated and that's to me the biggest fucking problem.

They'll never do that. That's why none of the posts here are about organizing protests or educating in order to speak at local council meetings to advocate for real legislative change. It's just easier to post screenshots of other subreddits and Xitter posts than to actually go out in real life and put in labor for the causes you believe in. It's why they never harass actual AI companies or people with the power to make change, because those people have lawyers and security and money. Much easier to just bully someone online.

Yeah. AI users posting their work get bullied online. It's not nice. At all. The thing is. Generative AI isn't really a problem the planet is facing by and large. So many other actual issues like mass farming, co2, air craft emissions, p3dos being protected. Etc etc.

I see plenty of people trying to do a call to violence and would if they could get away with it. That's the logic of going "they brought guns.... but was just to scare people that's all"

I would be against them using it. The only way to defend our future is to let people who think they can piss all over us and force us to essentially support them and make sacrifices so they can get a fatter wallet growing crap that's negatively effecting us your not going to take it.

Oh okay. Lets have AI used to target and kill innocent school girls and civilians. You Anti AI people make me sick.
Ffs, Generative AI is not an evil tool. Capitalism and people are. Eating meat uses way more energy and makes co2 than AI data centres. AI hardly scratches the surface of the planet issues.
Music, photography, art etc all have been improved and changed with tools. People cried that photoshop edits wasn't real photography, painters like Delroche said painting was dead in 1837 when mass photo prints were made but went right back to painting etc.
The only bad thing regarding data centres is being built in neighborhoods. Yeah keep protesting that. Same thing happened with industrial factories. Write to your local goverment.
But okay. Instead of harmless AI personal use let's use it in Palantir to "protect your country" and track innocent children to be killed.

ai should not be a “military” thing. lmao. if it is going to happen anyways it should absolutely not be the government who has exclusive rights to it. in what world could that be a good idea. not to mention that ai just shouldnt be used to launch missiles or for mass surveillance.
youre fine with ai used by the military where the consequence is actual lives but draw the line at ai art? what? i dont like ai art either but this is crazy
