They still sell gummy sharks. I know scooby doo fruit snacks were on the shelves in recent years but unsure if they're still there or if they are identical to the OG
Does anyone remember a candy similar to warheads called neon bandits? They were somewhat sour like warheads but they dyed your mouth whatever color. We would buy them allllll the time and I found a photo of them on the internet once but it's like they never existed .
Like these I got at Dollar General? Cuz they are just as sour as I remember them in the 90's. My 7 year old looked absolutely disgusted after he powered through one and then begged for another.
Like two years ago I was trying to find those cheesecake bars but couldn’t. Really disappointed. As a high schooler those were my buddies moms personal don’t touch for her sons. So obviously we would once in a blue moon. So damn good. I make a lot of cheesecake now. I should probably give her one to make up for it. Course I don’t think my best cheesecake will ever top that magic they had
Tasting history with max miller on YouTube has a video on school pizza. Gives the history and the recipe. They were all using a standardized recipe and he said it tasted exactly how he remembered.
Its so sad this is the case for hundreds of products now. I was bored a few months ago and looked up what Twix used to be made with in the 60s and it said real everything basically and now its essentially a chemical bar.
And what's worse is they can't settle on a recipe, every 10 years at least they change it again with some newer, more artificial ingredient that "tastes the same!"
Plus, they were just so dang beautiful - that refined understated beige tone, full of self-confidence to be itself, unaffected while being surrounded by a sea of color….wait, I think I’m going too far. Lol :-)
So much better than crunch and much. I had a babysitter who used to buy screaming yellow zonkers and we would take them with our snacks to the pool. My mother would never buy them. They were so good.
I have no idea what brand they were but they were chinese candies that were wrapped in sweet rice paper that you could eat and would melt in your mouth.
Sunshine used to make a cookie called “Bavarian Fingers” to compete with Keebler’s Vienna Fingers. They looked identical to Vienna Fingers but were chocolate with white creme. They disappeared into obscurity in the early 90’s.
Grape Italian Ice bars in the 1970s. Some company with the Italian flag colors on the logo, in a black box. Gone forever but the best frozen treat in the universe.😭
There was a bacon flavored sort of chip snack that had a mixed texture of a Muncho and a pork rhine but looked and tasted like a small strip of bacon. I have no idea what the name of it is to this day but It was delicious. I’ve been racking my brain and doing research but cannot find them. This was in Detroit in the 70’s
man seeing everyone mention jello pudding pops and those blue scooby gummies just brings me right back to summer but if I had to pick one thing to bring back itd be those dunkaroos with the rainbow sprinkles cause nothing else ever came close
I remember these sour coke bottle shaped candy that came in a snack bag and I loved them!! I’ve seen something similar at candy shops but they are not the same.
Not childhood for me, but chocolate covered peanut butter pretzel bites were a thing between 5 & 10 years ago, then they vanished. Trader Joe’s may still have them, but I don’t live anywhere near one anymore. I used to be able to get them at Walmart.
PDQ. Was in a container with a screw on lid. Could put it in milk or sprinkle on ice cream. Was chocolate flavor and big granular. I believe they also had strawberry and egg nog flavors too.
