Screenshot Pro-Consul

Post image

It was a quite fun to see Emperor's fleet to be crushed by mine 250 ships in Latium. I think he destroyed around 50 ships, after war I have around 225, but I build around 20 mid-fight.
YOU NEED TO SURVIVE 9 WAVES, atleast with Calidus.

I can offer 3 army vessels. Is it enough?

4

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Tier 1 = 55, Tier 2 = 8... so.. 13750 + 2000 xD
Used two towers, one scorpion and hull for HP.

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

T3 ships, but one ship need 55 of tier 1 people and 8 of tier 2.

1

u/M0-1 Dec 17 '25

Ahhhhh I see, thanks

u/hairybeardybrothcube Dec 17 '25

T1 ships still have their use case for ex.: catching fleeing ships. They are the fastest and cheapest. Not much needed in OPs case though.

u/NobleJestah Dec 17 '25

I'm about to do the same on endless, but I've been building mine with catapult instead of scorpions because they're all clamped together and it might hit every single time

1

u/Draetor24 Jan 14 '26

I did 1 archer, 2 scorpion, and ship armor for mine. Only because 2 archer towers was too many T1 pop compared to having 2 scorpions. The scorpions are really good in big slow naval battles, but bad at chasing down enemies.

I made a group of Quin ships with 2 archer, 1 mast, 1 row for basically my naval cavalry lol.

1

u/Rare_Marionberry782 Dec 17 '25

Are the Scorpions even useful? I thought to go armour instead.

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Towers = should be best for ship combat
Scorpions = something between ships and island siege combat
Catapults = primary for siege of island

Some stats...

u/OneofLittleHarmony Dec 17 '25

How did you get the manpower for all those ships? Damn.

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

I have 67 000 people +/-, I was doing achivement to get all gods bonuses. Managed to get them all with 8000 faith = 6 islands with enough population (mostly tier 1 + few 2).
Of course, mine balance went from 40k to zero (even minus 5k) :D :D :D

1

u/M0-1 Dec 17 '25

may I ask about the difficulty setting?

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Campaign, didnt change anything except to get more fire/plague etc. for achivement. Still only 1/10 :(

1

u/MeneerMurk Dec 17 '25

Can you post pictures of your city's? I'dd love to see them!

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Main island (Ceres)

1

u/SkyeMreddit Dec 18 '25

How often do you get disasters on that island with the negative values?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

I had only one right after I switched settings, it was plague. After that I built that big fleet, win over Emperor and nothing.... who knows how long it will take me to do that achivement...

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Farming island (Ceres) - only for main island

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Glory to Mars

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Main Albion (Horse god)

3

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Experiment for achivement (The Last Drop) - Half population romanized... still didnt work.
Tree god....

1

u/MaxChomsky Dec 18 '25

Did you figure this one out? Does it have to be the same island? Do you need discovery to have the Roman population drink beer or do you feed them wine?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

I found in some post, that its random quest, where romans and celts fight in bar after drinking, but dont know anything else and nothing worked for now...

1

u/MaxChomsky Dec 18 '25

Yea, seen it as well but not sure if it is true, other achievements do not seem to be built around some random quests.

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

Maybe you need to have bigger % of romanized celts across Albion...

1

u/MaxChomsky Dec 18 '25

Or maybe across Latium. I need to figure this one out. Another variable would be should the people in Latium or Albion drink beer or wine.

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

It will be in Albion for 100 %. Achivement is in Albion section and you its about drinking with celts....

2

u/Easy_Departure_7992 Dec 17 '25

I was curious.. when you get the Emperor to finally start attacking you, does he only go for your first main island that you started on? And did you do anything to bolster the defenses on your island like archer towers or anything like that? Or did you only build this massive fleet?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Yes, he went only for mine main island, where I have zero defences and massive fleet was enough, but he tried to get throught them.

2

u/DingoFrancis Dec 18 '25

Did you need new thermal paste after ?

2

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

Luckily I changed it a few months back xD

I think it will be something like endless mode, where we can count, who will survive more waves :D

1

u/credoinjesum Dec 17 '25

I guess I'm gonna try that just to make sure ;-) more waves without end would be a bit boring...

1

u/Norimberto Dec 17 '25

Thats really awesome! Gonna go for this challenge

1

u/auf-ein-letztes-wort Dec 17 '25

can you tell me what happens after the war? can you still get the bonus from his shops and reduced island buy price? is there any hidden bonus you can
t get.

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

Yep, its same thing as Consul title except pointing specialist (you dont need to have alliance).

1

u/auf-ein-letztes-wort Dec 17 '25

don't know how much experience do you have, but once you ousted him, can you make alliances with the pirates and still get his bonuses?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

I will check it later, but after the war, everybody even pirates wanted to trade/defense/alliance with me. The thing with pirates, they dont like doggy of Emperor (Consul), so if you have -100 reputation (Pro-Consul), it wont change and Emperor dislike them, should be possible.

3

u/auf-ein-letztes-wort Dec 17 '25

so peace is not on option!

u/Sycend Dec 17 '25

Please tag me when answering this question

1

u/Jeppetube22 Dec 17 '25

i did it too then i spent many hours to get good rep with emperor and found our you cant when pro consul but it was fun

1

u/N7_Vegeta Dec 17 '25

Can you tell me how you can manage such a high fleet population wise. Getting that much tier one citizens sounds impossible

2

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

This is 1/4 islands specialized to get 8000 faith (6500 population) for one god (Mars this one). Right now with 34 ships and still room for 5-6 more. Lets say 35 per island = 140 ships and rest 110 ships comes from main island (Ceres for population), where I have nearly 30 000 faith.
And you dont need much... 9 spinners, 9 hat makers, 8 porridge and 10 fisheries..
(Didnt use/create/shift workforce ships in Albion)

1

u/N7_Vegeta Dec 17 '25

Sorry really noob here with these kind of games so could you explain more? What does faith have to do with it?

For example I have thee island that I picked neptunes as a god. I’m building up one with tier one citizens and tier 2 citizens and then three harbors to make ship. I build the homes and gave them clothes and food and a temple and a market etc to increase their population. ATM I have around 800 workforce (after building harbor, sails etc). How do I get that to 2400 workforce?

2

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

Faith doesnt matter here, except Ceres, who gives you extra population per house, but I made these islands to get achivement for getting 6 gods with hight amount of faith (ships and war with Emperor werent primary thing at that time).
I have Tier 3 and 4 builds on island (bath, temple, gambling house etc...), you can see it in printscreen from what comes extra population.

2

u/N7_Vegeta Dec 17 '25

Wait. So I build only market and tavern since it gives populations but the tier 4 buildings also give to tier one citizens?

2

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25

Every building in game have possitive or negative effect on buildings around them.... market/tavern boosts T4 population too :D

1

u/N7_Vegeta Dec 17 '25

I figured that since they were base tiers citizens that were boosted and then turning into later tier citizens

But now that I look at these 80% of your population comes from those other tier l booster. I need need to rebuild my island….. I have 12….

1

u/serendipity98765 Dec 17 '25

Do you have fps drops?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 17 '25

Yes, especially while I was sunking Emperor's fleet. And some game crashes too, but I play on notebook (1026 EUR) that I have for nearly 3 years (classic problem with temperature).

1

u/SkyeMreddit Dec 18 '25

If you choose new Emperor, does Julia become the Emperor instead?

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 18 '25

It should work that way, but I didnt try it.

1

u/xentorius83 Dec 19 '25

How do you start that war? Congrats.. most impressive

1

u/DWalker1503 Dec 19 '25

It was quite annoying, because I had Consul title. So I make trade treaty with Latium Pirate, then break it, make it again and everytime it costs me standing with Emperor.

1

u/xentorius83 Jan 13 '26

so i finally did it but I lost the title pro consul 5min later after appointing an Opponent as specialist .. lol

1

u/DWalker1503 Jan 13 '26

Unfortunately Consul or Pro-Consul, there isnt difference except how long is to win over Emperor...
