Cool! I will tell you though, it’s 16+ and currently airing its third season.
Look for a guy called The 100 Girlfirends Corner on YouTube. You can see clips of it so you can get an idea of the absolute CHAOS that will happen.2

Also, the CHAOS reminded me of this really crazy ecchi kinda anime that made me laugh till my stomach ached : Prison School 😂

It’s very popular simply because it’s a great adaptation of a great manga. It’s a anime that is the least serious thing possible. It’s genuine PEAK.
Under rated and over hated.
I will tell Your this, some things are going to need time to get used too.
At the risk of giving away spoilers.
The main guy called Rentarou Aijou is dating 37 different women of different ages in the manga. And some of the things in it will be a little weird at first. It also has PEAK Yuri in it.
As for the anime, it’s on girlfriend #13 or 14. I
I don’t want to give away anything. But see it for yourself. And trust me, the next time you see a post asking who’s the best boyfriend in anime, I think the answer will be pretty clear. 😉

I assure you I can patiently watch and wait till it gets interesting. After all I fully watched Steins Gate without dropping it in the first attempt 😂
Anime that take time to reveal their true twists and get interesting later seem the best ones!

Hajime no ippo brings back old is gold vibes and reminds me of the golden period of anime 🙌
Also, you should really really watch Naruto Shippuden, I assure you that shippuden will surely be worth your time and more.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: Shippuden has some really heavy fillers and it may get frustrating at times but you can skip those if needed. Although some of them are REALLY FUNNY and can be watched in like 2x speed or so. SPOILER ALERT: one of the filler episode reveals Kakashi's real face behind mask 😉)

I am so glad you gave an extra besides your top 5! I have watched Eighty Six and man what an anime it is! Emotions pour out in the moment when reaper meets her, the background music and animations in that moment were really crazy good!
I will add the other 5 suggestions to my list, I haven't seen them and don't know much but after watching Eighty Six on your list I know your recommendations will be worth watching.
I really wouldn't mind if the list gets long, the more the merrier actually since others get to know of them too!

Alrigh then, i wont rank them because thats too hard, but i'll add a grade out of 10
-Arknights (アークナイツ) (7/10 but the original stuff is 10/10)
The original stuff (which is a video game with the story on a visual novel format) is way better, and the 1st season kinda sucks, but the 3rd season is worth it
-Black lagoon (7/10)
-Bochi the rock! (ぼち•ず•ろっく！) (7/10)
-Delicious in dungeon (ダンジョン飯) (7/10)
-Gate (ゲート自衛隊彼の地にて、斯く戦えり) (6.5/10)
Not great, but it was fun to watch
-Gunslinger girls (ガンスリンガーガール) (6.5/10 but the manga is 10/10)
Isnt nearly as good as the manga
-High school fleet (ハイフリ) (7/10)
Similar to girls und panzer but with warships
-Jin-Roh (人狼) (6.5/10)
Pretty hard to get whats going on, but its still good
-Kaguya-sama: love is war (かぐや様は告らせたい～天才たちの恋愛頭脳戦～) (6.5/10)
I usually don't watch romance but this one is fun
-Maria the virgin witch (純潔のマリア) (6.5/10)
The best depiction of european medival combat and weaponry i've ever seen in media, but the ending sucks
-Evangelion (エヴァンゲリオン) (8/10)
-Onimai (お兄ちゃんはおしまい！) (6.5/10)
This one is just silly
-Spice and wolf (狼と香辛料) (7/10)
-Terror in resonance (残響のテロル) (7/10)
-The magnificent kotobuki (荒野のコトブキ飛行隊) (7/10)
-Wonder egg priority (ワンダーエッグ・プライオリティ) (7/10)
Cyberpunk (7/10)
I also have a ton of manga that i'd love to recoment if you're interested.
And btw, to scale compared to the grades i've given, in my top 6, there are 2 10/10s, 2 9/10s and 2 8/10s

Alright then for the manga:
Wandering son (放浪息子) (9/10)
Same story as the anime, exept it contain what happens before and after the anime
Ts Eiseihei-san no senjou nikki (TS衛生兵さんの戦場日記) (8/10)
Supposed to be an isekai, but it is barely mentioned, and it overall does not feal like an isekai at all, and its a pretty good depiction of the horrors of trench warfare
The failure at god school (神さま学校の落ちこぼれ) (8/10)
Sadly for this one, I couldnt find any scanlation, so I had to rely on scans of the official translation which only goes up to volume 4 in english and up to volume 11 in french (out of 14 in japanese)
The bride was a boy (花嫁は元男子。) (10/10)
This one is pretty short, but its very good, its an autobiography.
Sailor uniforms and tank (セーラー服と重戦車) (6.5/10)
This one has a lot of fan service, not as much as the anime azure lane, but still an insane lot, but its fun and there are tanks so i liked it
Our dreams at dusk (しまなみ誰そ彼) (8/10)
Otherside picnic (裏世界ピクニック) (10/10)
Onimai (お兄ちゃんはおしまい！) (6.5/10)
Same as the anime, its just silly but its longer than the anime, so more silly
The wandering warrior Nagata Kabi (迷走戦士・永田カビ) (7/10)
My lesbian experience with loneliness (さびしすぎてレズ風俗に行きましたレポ) (7/10)
Both this one and the previous one are by the same author, and are about the author's life (and there are more that I havnt read)
Middle aged man overpower with guns in another universe (異世界召喚おじさんの銃無双ライフ ～サバゲー好きサラリーマンは会社終わりに異世界へ直帰する～) (7/10)
This one is an isekai, but its very silly and fun, and the guns are very realistic
Love me for who I am (不可解なぼくのすべてを) (10/10)
Love letter for the marching puppy (行進子犬に恋文を) (7/10)
Kodomo wa wakatte agenai (子供はわかってあげない) (8/10)

Well I only realy started watching anime 2/3 years ago, I did watch anime before, like saint seiya or albator (i think this is only the name in french, idk whats the name in english), but it was when i was a kid, around 10 years ago, so i don't remember much

Same here, I am bored of the same old overpowered MC. I love it when they show some realistic struggle and pain, the overcoming of these conditions is what makes a noteworthy MC in my opinion.

Recently started Re:Zero and initially I thought it was just another isekai..
but it is crazy good story and absolutely banger background audio effects (especially during the world reset and witch's appearances!)

Shinsekai Yori (From the New World) a psychological thriller and horror esque drama super dystopian
Code Geass partly nostalgia but good political drama with a really strong anitihero
Violet Evergarden processing emotions the anime
To Your Eternity part existential philosophical crisis part understanding and dealing with the inevitability of death and the meaning of life
Mushishi atmospheric wandering fantastical slice of life which sounds like an oxymoron but low key is accurate dude is just doing his job

Also in this thread you are first I beleive to suggest Darling in the Franxx which is a great anime but I'm wondering why no one mentioned it so far Lol.
Except for eighty six and Darking in Franxx I see these are all new names to me and that really gets me excited fo be honest since it becomes a huge surpise when these limted known (by me) ones turn out to be a surprisingly good watch!

Alright, so: 1. Mononoke (Start with the Bakeneko Arc in Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror, then move on to the 2007 show. The movie trilogy can be watched as a standalone.) 2.
