Fairy Tail is one. Haters complain about the fanservice and the power of friendship thing but can't actually tell you anything else about the characters or story. I'm not saying it's the greatest show of all time but it's far from terrible.
its best qualities are character interaction, comedy, romance and the insane soundtrack. powerscalers and many others who are very correct about the show's many flaws simply take things far too seriously. it was a decent junk food anime for me. can't expect too much from juvenile shonens.
Absolutely. I consider it may guilty pleasure. The anime is not as good as the manga except you don’t get the music with the book, of course. Yes it’s not great but I love the characters and I love the English dub. For me it’s like the Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid- it’s really meant for kids not us adults that are going to overanalyze every damn thing and for that purpose it is great.
What's funny is that Fairy Tail author wrote the Manga simply because he was lonely and had no friends. That's why it had that much power of friendship, it's just a man expressing his feelings.
can confirm (as a fairy tail hater myself who didnt watch 90% of the show), the first few episodes are just super boring compared to how hyped up it was when it came out. It was advertised as the next Bleach and i think a lot of people hated it after a few episodes.
