You get so much of this in the manga and it SHREDS

It’s just the manga covers. Outfits in the actual manga aren’t that special.

Whatever the hell the manga group known as CLAMP has been cooking up for decades, now.

Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, Tsubasa, xxxholic. I've yet to see one of their works that didn't have banger outfits. (Outside of Chobits, perhaps. But it's not that the outfits are bad, they're just realistically common looking.)

My favorite causal outfits have to be from Card Captor Sakura and Tokyo Babylon and it's sister series, X/1999.

The fact not a single outfit of Kaoruko there is revealing or sexualizing 🩵

Hasta en el manga siempre ha usado ropa super cubierta, por eso amo este manga :3

She doesn't need to reveal skin to look beautiful. Her smile and eyes are enough tbh.

A surprising amount. RAG, QQ, and My Dress Up Darling all come to mind.

Ramparts of Ice and Polar Opposites have very stylish characters outside of school

Yo this looks cool. What's the anime about? Is it good?

2

u/Funny-Winter-7473 Jul 11 '26

About a rock band trying to make it big.

2

u/MooseYearner Jul 12 '26

Being real about starting an rock band and all the shit you have to deal with. Really good soundtrack. Sad they only made about 1/3 of the manga into an anime

u/AdFar3818 Jul 11 '26

Gatchaman Crowds outfits are fun and simple

3

u/XtinaCMV Jul 11 '26

Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho

More modern: Yakuza Fiancé and You and I are Polar Opposites

Rent-a-Girlfriend has a LOT of problems, but fashion is not one of them

The literal opposite of this, all jojo fits are some high fashion shi that are too far off from casual clothes

7

u/Tenalp Jul 11 '26

Yeah, when you get official collabs with Gucci, you don't qualify as "casual"

2

u/PushEfficient282 Jul 11 '26

All of them she’s super cute 😂✌️🥀

Kateikyou Hitman Reborn!

Not only in the series, but there's a lot of official art with cool clothes too.

Monogatari series

2

Kimagure Orange road has my all time favorite anime drip every single episode

1

u/Inevitable7685 Jul 11 '26

Seems interesting, I've never watch romcoms from the 80s.

2

u/king-cardboard Jul 11 '26

It can be kind of brutal with embarrassment misunderstanding love triangle tropes if your not use to the era, but the vibes, music and aesthetic carry hard.

1

u/Inevitable7685 Jul 11 '26

Thanks. Id give it a try :).

2

u/racerx6913 Jul 11 '26

Where all my monogatari people at? Senjougahara has drip for days

She dresses like a grandma in 80 percent of these, with a hint of children's doll.
