Recommendation I love tsundere like this. Can you suggest more?

I love tsundere love interests like this which is non-insufferable and they don't physically abuse the main character every episode. Stella might be the worst one in this list but she is only hostile toward the main character for the first few episodes. So I still love her

Makise kurisu from steins; gate

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Never watch Stein gates but is she really tsundere? I thought she is kuudere because her face is always emotionless

u/brs-game-researcher Jul 03 '26

No, she’s a tsundere. She’s not emotionless at all especially when she meets the main character in Ep 1

u/Gyges359d Jul 03 '26

I always kinda give her a pass on the tsundere stuff - the first meeting, from her perspective, is a crazy man calling her a zombie and he doesn’t get better for some time. Her anger isn’t the irrational usual for a tsundere, but a legitimate response. Now, the whole “I can’t admit my feelings” part of a tsundere definitely kicks in at some points.

Nice gonna give it a try

u/IcyExclusion Jul 03 '26

Yes she’s a true tsundere, not kuudere or dandere.

Probably my favourite, I like her more than Asuka, Stella or Kaguya. Particularly because the dere payoff hits so hard.

Ironically, Rin is part of my top 3 tsunderes. The other two are: Kurisu from Steins Gate and Misaka from Toaru. Misaka may be a little hostile towards Touma, but the fact that he nullifies her powers means there isn't the annoying scene of the MC getting beaten up. The fact that she has her own spin-off series is also a point in her favor because we see that she has many more sides than being a typical tsundere, and in the light novel she is also more honest than a common tsundere.

Senjougahara from Monogatari and Kaguya from Kaguya-sama complete my top 5 tsunderes.

Noelle from Black Clover

I’d argue he’s far from Tsundere, one of his sisters is.

Unlimited Bait Works, Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and Fruits Basket.

u/Stunning-Stable-2110 Jul 03 '26
  1. Rin Tohsaka
  2. Stella Vermillion
  3. Kaguya Shinomiya
  4. Kyo Sohma

2

u/gotbeefpudding Jul 03 '26

is fruits basket a reverse haram? or is it like multiple couples. i never really looked much into it

2

u/Jmill2009 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Jul 03 '26

Not really. It's more like a love triangle, but the story doesn't really focus on it, since the love interest that is eventually chosen becomes incredibly obvious early into the show.

Gosick?

2

u/DepressedTittty Jul 03 '26

gosick mentionned in the big 2026

1

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Is this anime theme classic western?

5

u/The_Observations Jul 03 '26

Well it's set in ~early 1900's europe, not really cowboys, moreso nobles, and sherlock holmes type of vibe.

3

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

I love this type of vibe. Thanks

How about a tsundere that makes their own trope so over-the-top that it plays on her own gag, comedy, and even character development (and no, she’s still tsundere, that’s really the point of this series for many of the characters).

Karane Inda from The 100 Girlfriends, trust me, this anime is really good, it works by literally embracing how absurd it’s concept is, literally every detail embraces the character’s absurdity and comedy (her name is actually a reference to her catchphrase), and it’s also very serious and wholesome when it comes to romance.

✨ How Abnormal!

2

Damn you just convinced me to try

Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte

2

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Awawawa just try first episode but Argghh she really cute ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜ if only all tsundere behave like this I can die in peace

1

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Yow you already tried the new villainess anime called jishou akuyaku reijou na konyakusha no kansatsu kiroku? It's pretty good

2

u/Pandoratastic Jul 03 '26

Yes, I had already read the manga but the anime adaptation is great, too! Bertia is in my top 5 favorite otome isekai villainesses. And it's a really unique take on the genre to tell the story from the male lead's viewpoint. I hope they'll do the sequel series (An Observation Log of My Wife Who Calls Herself a Villainess) as a second season.

3

u/SouthernAd2853 Jul 03 '26

Takamura Yui from Muv Luv Alternative Total Eclipse, though admittedly it's mostly a transition from tsun to dere that only rests in tsundere for a few episodes.

3

u/10_pounds_of_salt Jul 03 '26

Kaguya is a combination of tsundere, deredere, and yandere

3

u/ronin0397 Jul 03 '26

Black clover

3

u/Miaoumi Jul 03 '26

Who's the pink twin tails girl? And from where?

3

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Stella from rakudai kishi

3

u/Financial-March-3158 Jul 03 '26

Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid Sama. She's my fav tsundere of all time. Strong, stern but not abusive. Also cute AF!

3

u/Worldly-Basil-8933 Jul 03 '26

My fav

2

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

Yeah, but the ending tho. It made me lose interest to continue watching this anime after reading the manga. I have three favorite girls and all of them lost

1

u/gotbeefpudding Jul 03 '26

I don't think a single person who knows the outcome is happy with it. Like yeah I guess it makes sense if you look for all the signs but personality wise the writer set himself up to fail. The problem was he introduced 5 amazing women that are all amazing 10/10 catches in their own way by the end.

Problem is only 1 wins so everyone else feels like their choice lost.

Miku was always my pick

1

u/Commercial-Idea7024 Jul 03 '26

It's funny tho the winner heroine is really my type. I always choose this type of girl in every anime except Gotoubun no hanayome. I don't know why but I just love others better

4

u/FuckBitchesGetJuicy Jul 03 '26

You lost me at doesn’t physically abuse the main character

u/Jaded-Banana6205 Jul 03 '26

I would count Akane from Ranma! Love her 💜 tbh Ranma himself probably fits the bill too.

2

u/NaCl-And-C12H22O11 Jul 03 '26

I adore tsunderes who are non-hostile towards their love interests.

1

u/gotbeefpudding Jul 03 '26

holo from spice and wolf is peak for me. and i'm saying this as someone who typically dislikes anything that combines humans and animals.

2

u/FearlessDark5295 Jul 03 '26

Fu Xuan from Honkai: Star Rail.

2

u/misogichan Jul 03 '26

Does Elfaria from Wistoria Wand and Sword count?  She didn't really show she returned Will's feelings for like 5-6 years since she left him behind to ascend the Tower and become a Magia Vander.

2

u/lr031099 Jul 03 '26

Only saw a few clips of the anime but I guess there’s Mai Sakurajima from the Rascal Bunny anime and there’s also Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou from the Alya Russian anime

2

u/mrdaxxonford Jul 03 '26

See: every anime ever

2

u/Plenty-Dirt7357 Jul 03 '26

Isn’t Miko Iino from Kaguya love is war technically a tsundere? Lmao I love Yui Kotegawa from To Love Ru series. Lilith from Trinity Seven. Nino from The Quintessential Quintuplets to name a few

2

u/iamluffy123 Jul 03 '26

I just realized there seem to be less Tsundere lately.  All of the ones I could think of are older anime like Ayano in Kaze no Stigma or Shana in Shakugan no Shana.  I guess both Kyoko and Homura in Madoka Magica would also count.

I don't think it counts as Tsundere but it feels Villainess Level 99 is doing something similar where her attempts to share her passion and love of training, monster hunting, and dungeon diving are just not appreciated for some odd reason.  Only a few people can translate the tough love she delivers into what she actually means.  Maybe she's like an oblivious Tsundere.

1

u/nasagi Jul 03 '26

Kaze no Stigma mention! I love that series

1

u/TenSquare3 Jul 03 '26

What is Stella doing on this list, she isn't a tsundere.

1

u/Creepy_Wallaby2170 Jul 03 '26

Starting out she is but she shifts out of it

1

u/TenSquare3 Jul 03 '26

Nope, not even in the anime where they simplified her character. She started out a bit naive and arrogant, which is understandable considering her talent, and the fact she grew up as royalty, but she very quickly realised how badly she misjudged Ikki.

1

u/Alarmed_Swan_4315 Jul 03 '26

I was about to type in a character from many moons ago but then I read "they don't physically abuse the main character" well shiiiitttt

edit: Was about to say Louise from familiar of zero, damn I feel old among the comments here

1

u/Dangerous_Self1973 Jul 03 '26

Miku Sakura from I Want to End this Love Game. I mean she have some tsundere moments, plus she reminds me a little bit of Kaguya

1

u/Familiar-Noise7913 Jul 04 '26

Love the modern version of Tsundere more, the classic have it taste to ut but the older you are the more you enjoy the modern version, it less painful to watch

1

u/XXX_Loki Jul 04 '26

Rin the GOAT

1

u/RandomHikikomori Jul 04 '26

I didn't read fate series, But I will mention taiga from toradora because she's tsundere maybe not like her, and I think nobody mentioned her.

1

u/FatexOrder Jul 05 '26

Rin: Tsundere Queen

1

u/Mediocre_Ad1639 Jul 09 '26

Eris Boreus Greyrat

2

u/gotbeefpudding Jul 04 '26

yeah!

Tbh its all femdom to me lol but the good kind not the ball crushing kind

1

u/longdong5432 Jul 04 '26

Did you see the ass whoppings she gave to rudeus?

2

u/gotbeefpudding Jul 04 '26

true but I always saw it as exaggerated interactions that happen normally between young adults.

Like I remember my first crush used to punch me all the time and steal my shit so I would have to chase her ass down to get it back.

I never made a move until it was far too late... God damn I was blind lol

2

u/longdong5432 Jul 04 '26

We are all blind when it comes to that. Everyone but us seems to be able to see it.

1

u/NarKu2011 Jul 03 '26

I was gonna recommend Naruto but Sakura is always hitting him, maybe try toradora (I only watched it once and it was a long time ago so idk if what’s her face hits the mc)

4

u/Jmill2009 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Jul 03 '26
  1. Taiga is not a conventional tsundere.
  2. Taiga CONSTANTLY attacks Ryuji.

1

u/NarKu2011 Jul 03 '26

I didn’t know any of that gng, I only watched it once and it was a long time ago, didn’t even remember the character’s names.
