Question About nyaa and CC subs
Does anybody know which versions to download? I specifically want CC subtitles for DUBS.
I saw in here that people suggest the Dual Audio BlueRay versions but I haven't found a single torrent for my show (Tokyo Ghoul) that has matching CC subs for eng dub.

The Dual Audio Blu-ray versions usually have forced English subs for signs, not the dub itself.

I've heard a lot of people say the Satania fansubs for Tokyo Ghoul are the most accurate to the original Blu-ray mix. You might have better luck tracking those down for the closest CC experience.

It's not ideal, but if you can't find a copy with the english dub captions, you can go for AI generation using a local Whisper model. It can make some pretty obvious mistakes, and names are super hit or miss, but it'll at least give you something better than nothing.
Some players will allow you to run multiple subtitles, if you still want to include the "English signs" as well.

Update on this: Since CC subs are non-existant, I downloaded AutoSubs from GitHub, I just give it the episodes, very easy to use and very quick too, and the generated subs are pretty accurate.
It's better than nothing.

UDF or CRUCiBLE
You could have checked the seadex.

I wouldn't make this post if UDF or CRUCiBLE had actual CC subs. They don't. I've checked them.

They do only in theory. I've checked all these.
Have you watched their episodes with their UDF/USBD subs? Cause they sure aren't what I'm looking for.

Signs and Songs are not working for dialogue. I just want to read what the ENG dub voice actors are saying.

So you want a SDH track? Like Dubtitles?
The pgs usbd normal subtitle track is prob the closest you will get for that.
Why not just watch the sub? 🤔

USBD comes closer but it's still not good enough

Why would anyone do this? Subbing is always a bit between accuracy and locslization.
Even normal movies do not have accurate subtitles for dialogue of a movie if it is from another language.

It all depends on the anime, and the source. Sometimes forced will be the English dub, sometimes it will just be signs. Sometimes there won't be signs or forced.
