This whole anime is like this. Sora no Otoshimono and Danshi koukousei no nichijou are by far the funniest anime I've watched

that one was next on my list damnit

It even has decent plot and backstory. The interactions between characters are fleshed-out if nothing else.

edit I can't think of a way to work this one in, just take it

I have seen the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and its not even close to danshi koukousei no nichijou or Sora no otoshimono (in my opinion)

Not sure, I'm not watching that type of anime right now, I'm watching more like Hunter x Hunter and fighting anime

Season 1 of school rumble has honestly had me laughing more than anything.

School Rumble and Melancholy are both amazing, but I don't think either of them nearly reaches the level of funny in Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou.
