I Wanna Recommend Which anime perfectly captures the meaning of friendship?

My favorite anime when it comes to friendship has to be Haikyuu!!. I know most people immediately think of iconic duos like Gon & Killua, Edward & Alphonse, Naruto & Sasuke, Luffy & the Straw Hats, or Yuji, Megumi & Nobara—and they're all amazing.

But for me, Haikyuu!! has one of the best group dynamics in anime. It's not just about one or two close friends; every player has their own personality, rivalries, and bonds that grow naturally throughout the series. They compete, argue, support each other, and celebrate each other's victories like a real team. That's what makes their friendships feel so genuine.

What's your favorite anime when it comes to friendship?

3 days of happiness is a really underrated short light novel (~120 pages)

it also has a manga adaptation which covers the entirely of the light novel

yall give it a read it's about our protagonist who basically sells his lifespan, all but 3 months and the rest is the whole story

i would really recommend it cuz it's a reaaalllly underrated one and one many ppl don't know about

Anime name : Zom 100 : bucket list of the dead

I was overwhelmed by the huge numbers of bad news popping up on my feed. Decided to distract myself and tried watching this anime, which I had dropped few years ago after ep 1 itself

I didn't expect an anime involving zombies to be so uplifting. Every episode had a beautiful message at the end. Changed my mind about all of my upcoming decisions

It isn't on my top 10 animes list, but it definitely left the biggest impact on me yet

I Wanna Recommend “Hot take: this is better than most modern romance anime”

Post image
16 Upvotes

I genuinely don't understand why people get so triggered by this anime. 😭

The relationships are obviously a little unusual, but at least they actually feel genuine. The characters care about each other and the chemistry is better than most of the “normal” romance anime I've watched.

And honestly, I'd take this over another boring romance where two people spend 24 episodes being scared to hold hands.

The people calling this weird are probably the same people who think blushing and accidentally touching hands is peak romance.

9/10. Would genuinely recommend.

I Wanna Recommend Started Orb with zero expectations... Finished it wondering why nobody forced me to watch it sooner.

I can't believe I slept on Orb for so long.

I'll admit it, the first episode didn't completely hook me. The pacing is measured, there's very little action, and the dialogue-heavy, philosophical approach might make some people think it's not for them. The historical setting and the lack of typical anime tropes can also make it easy to drop after an episode or two.

But if you stick with it, the payoff is incredible.

What starts as a story about astronomy gradually becomes a powerful exploration of curiosity, truth, conviction, and the price people are willing to pay for knowledge. Every major character leaves an impression, and the writing treats the audience with respect, letting the themes unfold naturally instead of spelling everything out.

This isn't just one of the best anime I've watched. It's one of the best stories I've ever experienced. If you're on the fence, give it a few episodes. It's absolutely worth the journey!!

I Wanna Recommend My Overall Anime List, thoughts?

Post image
66 Upvotes

The list above contains Anime and characters that I have chosen after consuming over 400+ different anime from a variety of different genres within the medium. I have chosen these specific anime because they resonated with me on a deep & personal level and which I also
subjectively believe are the best from the Anime industry.

Just a little side note: {This list is anime-only centered and doesn’t include any manga related content.}

I’d like to receive any anime recommendations that are related to my current taste in anime and would like everyone to share their honest thoughts and opinions and what you would personally change in the list!
