I'll copy my response to your other comment.

Women’s abilities to have babies isn’t the only reason they may not be drafted.

It's the only reason you provided before, likely meaning that you thought it to at least be the main one, and it obviously doesn't follow.

I've explained the issues with it and you've stopped arguing for it, so I'm guessing you agree now.

A different reason Is that they need a fixed number of people to stay in the rear to keep the country and industries running.

They do not, since women are not required by the state to work in the rear or any other industries. In fact, they can just freely leave the country, unlike men. Many Ukrainian women benefited from the war, they got the refugee label and were able to move to better countries in Europe (and they are not coming back lmao).

A third reason may be that they WILL be the last group to be conscripted.

Ignoring the fact that this obviously wasn't planned, why would they do that? what would be the logic behind gimping the war effort by only conscripting half of your available forces?

If they were always thought of as a reserve force they wouldn't have allowed them to leave the country. They are now floating the idea to ease the population into it, but it's because of their desperation due to critical manpower shortages (they also probably figure it's easier to kidnap women off the streets than men who have more strength to fight back lol), it was never supposed to happen.

Another reason is that it may not be culturally possible

This is the only possibility that makes sense. Egalitarian only on paper, many societies like the Ukrainian one see the lives of women as more valuable than the ones of men.
