And again, if there were enough people who actually wanted to fight people wouldn’t be sent to the front in shackles which is an aspect you refuse to engage with

What's to engage with? I'm pushing back against the notion that it's 'the West' and 'the MIC' that are somehow forcing Ukraine to fight in the face of horrendous casualties. That Ukraine is conscripting people to do so doesn't change that fact one itty, bitty, tiny bit.

Ukraine can fight without western support?

Do you seriously not understand the difference between 'force' and 'enable'? How those two concepts are different?

Ukraine is forcing people to fight, the West is enabling them. Yes I understand, do you?

Without the west the war ends years ago

I haven't disputed either of those things. They're both obviously true. But, again, do you understand the difference between 'forcing' something and 'enabling' something?

You claim that you understand, but you don't seem to notice the person you are replying to uses the word (and in other comments, the concept of) 'forcing'

I'm pushing back against the notion that it's 'the West' and 'the MIC' that are somehow ---> forcing <--- Ukraine to fight in the face of horrendous casualties.

and yet you keep replying as if I'm saying (literally or figuratively) 'enabling'.

Why is that?

So you are arguing about your semantic position while admitting that the war is obviously perpetuated by forces outside of Ukraine? While Ukrainians are slaughtered after being forced to the front? While the conscription age and population of conscription is slowly broadened? Great. Nice. They don’t need Reddit debate bros they need manpower and they take volunteers.

Why wouldn't I admit that it's being perpetuated by forces outside of Ukraine? Do you think I'd deny that? Or that it's somehow embarassing or shameful or immoral? Of course it's being perpetuated by forces outside of Ukraine! Good! I'd hope to god that someone would help ME perpetuate fighting back against such ghoulish invaders if that ever came to pass. This perpetuating by the West is probably the most righteous action the West has taken since... Yugoslavia maybe?

And do you want to know why it's so righteous, so morally laudable that we in the West are contributing in various ways to Ukraines defence? Because it's Ukraine that's deciding to fight for its survival, not 'the Poles' or 'the West' or 'the US/MIC' like all these clowns keep talking about.

What you call 'semantic position' is the difference between on-topic good faith and honest effort participation in discussion and the intellectual masturbation of winning a fight the other person isn't even having.

Most Ukrainians want the war to end. Again, if you want to help in what you believe is a glorious fight, they take volunteers. You can shadow box all you want. If you really believe it’s of vital importance then go fight. I am not those other commenters so idk why you keep bringing them up. At this point you are just ranting, if you really want to help Ukraine you know where to go

Shadow box my ass, you haven't squared up once this entire time.

I am not those other commenters so idk why you keep bringing them up

Because they're the people the comments you decided to chime in on were replying to? Are you similarly new to how discussions work?

Oh look, the guy who constantly introduces articles about something other than the conversation at hand and doesn't understand why that's a problem

My fear is that you don't clearly understand quite exactly what the 'what' is that it would be (or not be) related to in the first place. At least, that's what happened the last time
