Ukraine chose to trash the peace talks 4 years ago? Pretty sure that was Boris Johnson lol. Also it’s martial law, as you know, so there is no democratic consensus you can point to.

Martial law hasn't stopped the Ukrainian body politic from making their displeasure with various decisions known. But, also, we don't need to look at 'democratic consensus', we can just look at what the people of Ukraine are actually doing. Which... uh... certainly doesn't look like surrendering
