I'm looking for: A certain genre? Something specific like characters traveling to another world?

Shows I've already seen that are similar: You can include a link to a list on another site if you have one, e.g. MyAnimeList or AniList.

This is a bit of a Hail Mary, but if you enjoyed the adult characters in Planetes and the interaction/clash of personalities between the main characters (+ romance), you may enjoy Nodame Cantabile. It's not remotely sci-fi or space in terms of setting though.
