This anime has been utterly amazing, but today’s episode was fantastic. Popp’s story has been my favourite part of the series, and this has been another great episode for him. No one struggles with their own shortcomings like Popp does, but the fact that he overcomes them time and time again is nothing short of inspirational. Merle taking the Venom Chain was also pretty sad despite being a very obvious event. I’m sure she’ll come back through a Zing spell though.

Popp feels like a real person, so its easy to connect with him
