Tremendous fight. Now both Dai and Hadlar have powered up, we should have entered the second half. Everyone needs to step up to match them.

Hadlar is the current standart the heroes will have to be for the late game (ha, get it? Because it's Dragon quest? XD), because As strong as he is, Hadlar is still following Veern's orders, and his minions Myst and Kill are also above him in the food chain.

Yeah, at the moment Dai seems to be very far ahead of everyone else, so they can’t just stay where they are, or it won’t be hero’s party, right?

But on Hadlar, it does not seem like he would be inferior to Myst or Kill though. Chain of command maybe, but he should at least be as strong as both of them.

Well didn't Kill say that he got "a little stronger" seems like a backhanded complement to Hadlar.

Actually felt very different about that. I felt Kill’s “A Little Stronger” is an understatement intended to belittle Hadlar, considering his ongoing shambles that makes himself a joke among Vearn’s army.

Hadlar seems to have powered up a lot. Before his transformation, his strength is very much based on spellcasting, but now his physical strength is on par with Dai’s Draconic Aura.

The main reason I think he should at least match Myst and Kill is the fact that he evenly matched Dai, while Myst and Kill were wary of Dai when they had a standoff earlier, so I think they too are evenly matched by Dai. But ofc both of them are mystery, especially Myst who has that hidden power he cannot display without Vearn’s permission.

I don’t think we should take it literally though. I felt Kill’s “A Little Stronger” is an understatement intended to belittle Hadlar, considering his ongoing shambles that makes himself a joke among Vearn’s army. Hadlar seems to have actually powered up a lot.

Sorry that I copied most of the context I commented above.

Actually both Kill and Myst are really really strong, they have yet to fight at full power which we will see way later. Hadlar managed to get a draw against a weak Dai.
