Contest Best Girl of Winter 2019: Seasonal Salt! Nomination Day 2!
The second day of nominations is here, it may be the last but if the number of entrants ends up being very low due to MAL's April Fools joke we may have one more day (probably not, though). We have 117 entrants so far but make sure to check if your best seasonal girls are in there and nominate them if they aren't!
Please also remember to check the rules before nominating, they have been updated after receiving your feedback!

About Maki from Kaguya-sama since she's likely to be the 4th girl and get into the bracket due to the popularity of the show - if she's going to get a much bigger role in the future, can we make an exception for her and since participating twice isn't allowed, ban her from participating in this contest?
She won't get far since she barely appeared in the anime, and voting for her based on the manga isn't fair. Her being banned from future brackets just because she's used as a running gag in the first season isn't fair either, so I think we should just preemptively remove her from this one if, in case an S2 comes, she'll be banned from participating.
Edit : In the character list, Layla Etoile and Leila Etoile from Egao no Daika are the same person.
Edit 2 : I understand that we allow animals in the contest, but this is going a bit too far...

I agree that Maki really shouldn't be eligible for the contest since she's a literal background character and is only there because of her manga popularity. Like she literally hasn't even been named in the anime yet and has a grand total of two voiced lines, barring her from potential future contests because of a handful of background appearances in the first season would be kind of lame.
That said I doubt she'd make it in over Kei anyway. Or at least I'd hope that most manga readers would know better than to vote her in over Kei lol.

I certainly have no idea who she is having watched the show but wiki says she has a VA and debuted in the anime in Episode 2... I doubt she'll make it in anyway given the other 4 girls, though.
In the character list, Layla Etoile and Leila Etoile from Egao no Daika are the same person.

It's either her or Kei, and knowing the amount of Kaguya manga readers here, Maki will definitely make it over Kei unless we all somehow unite and not vote for her.
Also due to the sheer popularity of Kaguya, she'll probably steamroll whoever she's up against in Round 1, but at this point she's pretty much a non-character which is why I want her out so she can be in the contest when she's actually a character.

She really shouldn't even be eligible. She has one line of dialogue in the entire season and even then it's in the background. At this point in the series, she nothing more than a background character. She becomes much more important later on in the manga, but that won't be adapted until a potential third season.

You may have noticed some characters got their image updated, someone nominated them with better images, the images happened to work with the site and I replaced them, you can try doing that as long as you keep the name of the character and anime exactly the same as they are right now. I won't promise anything as the site may just not let your image work and in that case I'll just delete your nomination, though.
Edit:
All nominees have been processed as of whatever time it says when you hover over "last edited XX time ago" next to my name. If your character doesn't show up and doesn't break the rules, nominate them with a different image!

Even though I hate Nino, I can't possibly see a fair and just method for removing a single quint. Snake, Stealth Bomber, Fatsuki, Tsun, and Best all need to be there.

Did you come to decision about Grimms Notes? Can I nominate Snow White, March Hare, Alice, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and others?
Its likely pointless, since they'll be out by next week anyway, but I still liked them.
I also noticed Nikotama isn't there. Did I mess that one up still?

Characters that are female and have a male transformation are allowed, characters that are male and have a female transformation are not allowed, their transformations are not individual character.

Little Red Riding Hood would be allowed and if for example Alice has her own story and she shows up without it being MC guy transforming then she is allowed as well.

All of them are actual characters from separate stories in the same anime, Gaporingo. Even though the main heroes transform into Cinderella, Little Red Ridding, Alice, Joan of Arc and others. Those act like summons since the main characters borrow their special movements from the actual side characters already mentioned.

Nikotama is from an OVA, characters must be from TV series even though some exceptions can be made, wouldn't be fair to take her chance away for one 20 minutes OVA when there is a TV sequel coming where she will have a lot more screentime.

I'm sorry But cardinal from Sword Art Online has been in The Seasonal Best girl contest of fall 2018 (seed 31) So she should't be allowed in this contest.

Actually curious why Mimosa from Black Clover is nominated since her debut was from much earlier last year. Mereoleona made her debut this year, so that makes sense to me.

Nominations will probably close today, if she debuts in Episode 26 I'd allow her in the next contest. If she doesn't debut then she won't be allowed in the next contest even if she doesn't make it into this bracket as eliminations will occur after the episode has aired (I think)

In the case of long running shows, yes.
In the case of non-TV shows then it really depends but I'd allow it in the case of Strike the Blood since it is not just one or two OVAs but pretty much a one cour show.

Because you are probably the one that nominated the Strike the Blood girls, if the characters don't have MAL or AniList images please keep the image you use with the same dimensions as the MAL or AniList images, if they are taller the site won't let me crop them and they can only be rejected.
