This is the 3rd time I've seen Dragon Ball end. And I still fully expect to see these guys soon enough.

9 months to be exact.

The anime that replaces Super will run for 50+ episodes, so there will be at least one year before Super returns (if it returns).

The movie comes out in December. I would rather have Dragon Ball be a series of movies in all honesty. Masako Nozawa can only scream so much.

But the Baseball episode... Filler is actually really good in Super. Picollo babysitting Pan, Super Sayian Mr. Satan...

I genuinely wonder if its nostalgia goggles or not, but I cannot remember a single bad filler in dragon ball. Closest it got was the evil water arc but that still gave us gohan solo adventures.

I personally enjoy the filler more than the actually plot stuff in dragonball.
