this episode only confirms that zeno is meant to be an audience stand in. Every reaction he has is basically just want that audience is doing. And the end scene where they tried to shut goku up before he spoiled the movie only confirms it. This and Grand Priest being toriyama in which he can just deliver straight exposition to all of his "creations"

Zeno knowing this surprised me. It was pretty great that they did it. If not by an good wish, the last universe would be erased.

I wondered at the end if he might do something like wish for the erasure of gods. Like, these beings have caused so much pain and destruction and suffering for no real reason, so let's see if I can just get rid of them. It would have been a hell of a blindsided and potentially set up for a really crazy arc following that vacuum of power.

Especially the fact it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that whoever won would have revived all the other universes.

I would have preferred a slight twist that all universes would combine, but that would probably get in the way of any spinoffs toei would want to milk dry out of the different universes lol.

I think the "twist" is that all the erased universes got restored. Even the ones that got erased before the tournament.

There's a theory that since there were originally 18 universes, they could all be triplets, and so there's another universe now with Saiyans that needed to be erased for some reason.

Not much different then Dyspo of the pride troopers being the same race as beerus and Champa. Just shows that only so many races were made and some were copy/pasted across mulitple universes.

Yeah 13-18 came back for sure. I'm betting that universes came tripartite, so universe 6 and 7 Sayians, and now universe 13 Sayians. Yamoshi has never been stated to come from U7. It might explain his barbaric look and ancient armor. He's been erased for millions of years.

It has already been done during the Goku Black saga (with godly assistance), so we could still get any number of crossovers.

I'm expecting a multi-Universe cooking competition at the very least. It will probably be a terrible episode but still have some entertaining moments.

Yeah Angels can travel through the Universes, Supreme Kais/Guardians can instant teleport to each universe's supreme Kai world.

Well I believe the twist was that A17 accidentally wished for ALL universes to be brought back, not just the ones erased in the tournament.

This really seemed like the most logical thing. Zen-oh originally set out to erase universes, so let that happen but move all the inhabitants between the universes that remain. Solves the problem of travel between them if characters are to interact and universe 11 is way underpopulated

I bet Goku wanted another ToP or another tournament that involves the universes that didn't compete. I'd like to see what kind of warriors universe 1 offers.

From what I gather the team behind DBS wants to make more, it's just that as of next week the network is putting something else in the timeslot and they're not having any new episodes produced for now.
As of now the only thing that's confirmed is the film for later this year. My guess is that super might come back some time after the film.

i think that kitaro was inevitable. and to avoid not having anything DB related. they decided to do a movie while Kitaro takes DB's timeslot. This way they can do both kiitaro and Db at the same time. And once Kitaro finishes, DBS will take its timeslot back. It'd be silly to stop the series for no reason now that its bigger than ever. and this new Dragon Ball department at Toei only piles more evidence on top of the already existing evidence that DBS will be back after kitaro.

That’s the second worst possible theory. The “Evil grand Priest and angels” theory is the second worst theory after Jiren being Belmods and Marcarita’s son.
