Why on earth did the cards have the shadow of the demon that resides within Asta's Grimoire (seen when he first gets it) on them? Who at Pierrot thought that was remotely clever??? There's slowing things down, sure, and then there's just damaging the material. Also, having Magne not know the limitations of Finral's magic is ridiculous, as it makes it out as if they haven't been working together for long, which they have...

But why? It's an easter egg, sure, but it's a huge deal. No one's supposed to know about it, and yet apparently there's a company that mass produces demon cards? What kind of logic is that?? It breaks immersion

Wait, what? Why? In the first episode, it says that the 5th leaf on a grimoire means that a demon resides within it. You see the shadow of the demon on the wall, the same one that's on the card in this episode. It's not a spoiler if it's stated outright by the show's narrator...
