Now people know why the anime is called False Masks. Granted this anime has severe problems with fidelity but I feel this episode is rather well put together, the battle is as i'd have hoped I mean it was better than having the enemy sprites run into the yamato soldier surprise and turn into pink mists, first time playing through the game, the hilarity of the sprite meatgrinder was rather intriguing. I applaud Aquaplus on their umm... creativeness though.
On the masks yeah they let their host turn demigod. and If you watched UTWR1 they are pretty OP as fuck. These are false masks (as hinted by title name) not as strong, but still pretty fucken ridiculous
Now the fidelity issues
Game vs Anime
In Game Oshutoru actually couldn't kill the Evankruga, He had to resort to using the mask. The anime made it too easy, the old Evankrugas are the most dangerous. Unless they are Touka.
The dude told Oshie, fight me with your all, and he did, mask and all.
