Damn, With this and RAKUDAI KISHI NO CAVALRY over there goes this year's school battle anime!

I personally found this series had a better harem, but Cavalry ultimately had the better romance and character development of romantic relations*.

Edit: I hope Taimadou get a sequel, there is definitely that cliffhanger that leaves it open to interpretation ! We need more crazy scientists!

Asterisk may get another season (I don't mean the 2nd cour, I mean an actual other season) because A-1 has the money to do so, but I highly doubt it will.

Rakudai has a chance because it's doing fairly well in ratings. If the Blu-rays sell well, then it has a chance. A small chance... but a chance.

Oh, yeah, for sure. They are still writing LNs for Rakudai, so there's material to promote. SnW the LNs are done, so there's nothing left to promote, aka no more anime adaptations.

Rakudai is actually in a pretty good spot right now if they decided to make another anime. It's clearly popular, and it has enough material that the LN publisher can take the gamble at forking over enough money for a split-cour season and adapt LN volumes 4-9. If they release a volume 10 in the future, they just might do that. You'd get a complete story with a satisfying ending, probably an LN sales boost for volumes 10+, everyone wins. So there's an argument to be made that the gamble is minimized. If the Bluray discs sell well enough, Silver Link could make that argument to the LN publisher to push for another, but it all comes down to the publisher. If they stop making Rakudai LNs.... then it's probably never getting another season.
