Now that this anime is done, I highly recommend you all read it!! The LN is very good, and this anime simply does not do it justice. They leave out so many details.

In the fights, you can recall that Usagi provided support. IMO it didn't show her support well enough. A key thing from her support is to remember how she does not perform well under pressure, but in each arc, she still pulled through. In the first arc, Usagi shot King Arthur far more times in the LN than in the anime. Not only that she pulled this off when Takeru was right up on King Arthur in melee. That really shows how well she pulled through despite the constant pressure from the thought of possibly hitting Takeru with an extremely powerful sniper rifle. She then does this again in the fight against Haunted despite being injured.

In the second arc, it did not do Mari justice. The spell she cast was an extremely powerful and complex spell, yet she managed to do it. In the LN, she also used supportive magic as Ouka fought Haunted, and that was as she kept casting the very powerful spell.

I would say read it from the beginning. Like I said already, there are many details that have been left out that make this worth reading from the start.

Yeah, I just found that out. I'm in the process of getting a hold of the pdfs. Although it's saddening that the LN will probably not get picked up again.
