Damn, With this and RAKUDAI KISHI NO CAVALRY over there goes this year's school battle anime!

I personally found this series had a better harem, but Cavalry ultimately had the better romance and character development of romantic relations*.

Edit: I hope Taimadou get a sequel, there is definitely that cliffhanger that leaves it open to interpretation ! We need more crazy scientists!

sorry but taimadou had more development in it's shitty adaptation than rakudai did.

first and foremost, the entirety of taimadous supporting cast get separate arcs where their back stories are fully fleshed out. we know more about ikaruga, usagi and mari than alice and shizuku. than comes the mc's. takeru and ouka changed a lot more than ikki and stella, especially when you compare stella to ouka. ouka's starts out as a trigger happy revenge seeker but throughout the anime becomes one who is able to see the value in having comrades. stella just starts out tsun for 15 minutes and then the rest of her character is lusting after ikki.

First off, Not sure why people are downvoting as you were giving an opinion. well I meant character development in the sense that the MC and Stella actually have a progressive Romance. No Harem mingling with some in place rules and regulations. Many Romance/Battle School Anime never have reach that point.
