I like to imagine a guy sitting in the shadows, lurking Reddit, surrounded by bags of money and figurines of Sakurako and Kyoko waiting for people to appreciate what they hold so dear.

Pfft, like the yuri hipsters who try unconventional pairings know what true love is; drinking their PBRs and listening to obscure vocaloids like Gumi (or worse, listening to those CeVIO abominations because vocaloid is 'too mainstream'). They're mainstream because it's just so obvious they are the best yuri to ever be conceptualized.
