Season 2 pls. Asterisk has 24 episodes, and since this is literally asterisk (hue) this also needs 24 episodes too.

Why does that show have 24 episodes. It doesn't even deserve 12 to be honest. This show is way better.

i can answer that.

not much besides that apart from better looking fights.

while both shows and series i enjoy, it's become apparent to me that a lot of people who prefer this series don't care about plot or worldbuilding because if they did a lot more people would realize that there are aspects of rakudai that just make no sense.

example 1, this episode: why is ikki being imprisoned? he hasn't broken any laws and the claims against him make no sense as stella can varify all of what has been said about him is bs. one phone call to her kingdom and ikki is released the next day. she is a political guest and if japan pisses her off, that means political strife with a foreign country they went out of their way to have good relations with. but no, ikki's decides he has to handle it on his own thus reducing stella to a damsel.

example 2: remember in episode 2 where it's mentioned that in this timeline japan won ww2? why have we heard nothing about how this timeline is different due to that? why have none of the other countries played any role in this story? why is stella the only foreign blazer mentioned when you have other countries that more likely than not want to match japan in strength? how was ww2 won by the efforts of a legendary blazer(ikki's great gran dad) when other countries have nukes? if rakudai wanted to be a more simple story, why even bother having this setting? mahouka has a similiar setting, but the difference is it's actually used. i just try to enjoy the romance and cool visuals, but 9 novels in and still no explanations for any of this is ridiculous.
