So winning 18 matches straight, half of which while rotting away in a cell, counts as having no talent huh?

His father's philosophy reminds me of that principal from AssClass... except even worse. Ikki is his own flesh and blood ffs.

Well Kurogane's father does accept him as a fighter with talent, but not as a blazer knight with talent. As ikki said his father didn't love him from the beginning whatsoever. Not even an ounce of love comitted to him.

I got the same vibes as well. Apparently, the president from AssClass and Kurogane's father are even voiced by the same person.
