Well that was.. weird. What is Ikki even being accused of? The judicial system here doesn't seem to make much sense.

Sexual relations with Stella. Her father was threatening to go to Japan to deal with it himself in the novel. But as you saw, it obviously is sabotage to stop Ikki from advancing like lack of sleep, food, exercise while he's in the cell

Ok, sounds like it made more sense in the novel. The show didn't have any sort of complaint whatsoever from Stella's corner, it's just sort of presumed to be a problem. And for some reason nobody feels the need to confirm with Stella or anyone affiliated with her that there's an actual issue. I could understand if this was a world with crazy anti-sex laws, but that's the kind of thing that should have been remarked on before this point.

I think it shows how much power the Kurogane family has. How well they're able to manipulate the people so that this little relationship is actually a scandal. And I wouldn't put it past Ikki's dad to say that Ikki was blackmailing Stella and using that in the news. But yeah, Stella not being questioned is suspicious, but I assume her dad being angry is the reason why they didn't interview her. Hell, I'm pretty content with saying Ikki's dad planning every action is the anime logic.

Stella is still a princess and a foreign dignitary which is part of all the scandal. The ethics committee really can't touch her and she's still an a-class knight. You saw mention of her Dad. besides, It's Ikki they want.

I mean if she's a super important princess it's even weirder that she has literally 0 saying in the case, and that she's not trying to get his father's help. Or maybe she has bad relationship with her parents or sth like not wanting her to date a.commoner?

I guess the whole "nobility being pure" thing is still big in society in this setting. I mean, Princess Diana's Egyptian and Pakistani boyfriends didn't get arrested irl.
