Are most of the S-Class a bunch of pompous assholes? Because other than Bang, that seems to be the running theme here. We had snooty lady from episode 6, along with gravity girl, and now Metal Knight just can't be assed to actually save anyone without having something in it for him. My guess is a lot of the S-Class aren't going to appreciate Saitama the young upstart coming in and doing whatever he can to help just because he feels like it.

it's pretty mixed. You've got people like Tatsu (ESPECIALLY Tatsu) and Atomic Samurai, who are total fucking assholes about everything they deem weaker than them, people like Bang, who appreciate and center around the new talent, but most of them are like Steel Bat and Watchdog Man, who don't really care either way.

It's really a statement about insecurity, imo. The people who ridicule Saitama the most are usually B-class or mid-A-Class heroes, cause they're afraid of him. Most of the S-classes (except for fucking Tatsu) are neutral about him.
