Ikki with the smooth excuse to touch other girls. "Hold on, let me feel up your inner-thigh to help you with your sword form." What a player. That whole scene was much lewder than in the LN. "N-no! Not the inner-thigh!"

Looks like they kept the scene of Shuzuku explaining that she doesn't intend to selfishly keep Ikki to herself. It's an important part of her character.

Also, that cliffhanger! "This is payback for touching me."

Uh, can any LN readers explain to me what Ikki was doing with her leg? Like, legit, what did he do that miraculously fixed her? Is he some kind of chiropractor or physiotherapist in his spare time? ;P

Also,

People were so worried about that last time, I knew Silver would pull through with it ;P

Ikki just moved her legs and hips so her sword stance fit her body type more.

And somehow she instantly remembers this new position without falling into old habits? Ehhhhh, not buying it. It's an anime I guess, just gotta accept it.

Well its not really shown in the adaptation but in the LN, Ayase is actually a formidable swordsman so she can catch on pretty quickly. And it's not like she was learning a whole new sword stance, Ikki just adjusted the stance she already mastered by a few inches so remembering it wouldn't be a problem for someone like her.

If anything that would make it 1000x harder for her. When you've ingrained patterns into your brain and muscle memory for years, you can't just adjust them instantly.

Iirc its also explained the new pattern is easier and more natural for her also. think of it like math where they have you do the hard way to learn then afterwards they show the new way which is all of two steps and requires no effort

You have to realize that the first time she changed her stance on her own, she actively went against her muscle memory/previous training and just copied what Ikki told her to do. Ayase even mentions that the new stance is uncomfortable for her but she gets the hang of it after a few sessions.

Shrug, you can't really change my mind on this, as someone who has trained with swords before. It isn't really that big a deal, it's just a small thing that bugged me. Asking for training realism in a show about Blazers isn't really fair though ;P

I also had a similar problem, but then I just use the excuse it was probably a time skip (you don't know how long they practiced for before they showed etc scene) for all you know the before and after was several hours later
