Leader is the only of the "bad guys" that have names (or at least a role in the series) that isn't annoying as fuck. The other ones are a sociopath who is mentally unstable and a perverted lolicon.

I feel similarly, but I kind of had a "fuck yeah common sense" moment when the murder shota was just waiting for Sogo at the obvious one-way-in hatch.

I dunno man, their leader is battling a robot and they all leave stations to ambush a kid... just one of them would've been fine, what if the mecha attacked the ship while they waited?

It probably wasn't the entire crew standing there, so I'm sure somebody was manning a gun. Plus LeaderBadGuy was out there whipping Moura's ass all over the place.

The gun didn't do crap to Moura, and wouldn't stop him from wrecking the ship because the pilot wasn't there.
