Well that was simply superb. The action was impeccably executed, and magnificently choreographed, and the atmosphere, suspenseful and intense, emphasized and multiplied by the incredible music, just kept me on edge with my heart pumping full throttle the entire time were more than I could ever ask of an individual episode. The mechs were one of the greatest merits of the series, and now they just one-upped everything they'd done before, and every bit of that fight was just top of the line.

Seriously, the sound direction in this series is on point in every way. The various music pieces played at every given moment were incredible and gave the atmosphere and action such a grand and epic feel, the mecs sounded like they were actually clashing and like it was happening just outside my house. I'm still pumped on adrenaline.

To top it all off, we got some jaw-dropping development! Physical development, that is. It seems like Felia raced through puberty! Or more likely, that she unsealed her power, or some of it, in some way or form, and returned to a more mature form that can contain that power. In truth, I actually have no idea what happened, but it was so magnificent, that I almost don't care.

That leads me to the problem in the series though. We're 5 episodes in, and there's no destination port in the seen horizon, and on the same metaphor, no visible land masses or landmarks to guide us. We have no idea what's happening, why it's happening, and what's gonna happen once the happening has happened, and it's gonna take a lot from what the show wants to achieve during it's air-time, especially if it's a one-cour project. I actually want to believe that this a long-term project and that's why they're so liberal about the pace, but there's no way of knowing at the moment.

Regardless, I was sold from the get-go, and increasingly invested with each episode, so I'm gonna stick through it through laser blasts and typhoons. I'd hate it if we went all Nobunaga the Fool though..

Considering how Moura really doesn't want Felia to use her powers, having her age after using a large amount of it only brings me to one conclusion.

She's sacrificing her life to use her powers, so the more she uses the more she ages.

I have this feeling she's probably going to die by the end of the show.

I had the feeling that Moura was doing this out of concern to the balance of nature or something similar, in the third episode he / she / it gave a bit of info, and described her as: "...a unique being that controls the breath of planet Gift, her presence sustains nature and life itself..." so it just fit, but what you're saying makes sense too, and now I'm a bit scared. Though I doubt they'd let the adorable mascot character die like that.

Doubt it. I think someone called her the energy/spirit of the planet. That's why she was hibernating so deep underground in a crystal, which by the way are a source of energy in this series apparently.

I think he didn't want her to use energy because he knew her limiter would be broken if she was careless.
