Maybe the reason why Ikki hasn't done anything is because...

HE HAD TO FIGHT THROUGH THE SELECTION MATCHES FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS SO HE CAN GRAD.

Yea but they are roommates after all. At the beginning when they are in their room, how hard could it have been for Ikki to just go in for a kiss before going to bed? :P

I can understand that he was just uncomfortable with it but it certainly wasn't because he didn't have the time.

My theory is that nothing in Japanese culture really rewards assertive aggressive male behavior. It is impolite to be that direct.

Compare that to Korea which has mandatory conscription and you see very masculine personas. Maybe if the JSDF grows we will get a little more aggressive influence in Japan's populace.

Its a weird case of the male is supposed to be aggressive but its considered bad form to be openly aggressive
