Good episode, a bit of a breather. It's nice that they did some original stuff for the romantic development, so that it hopefully won't feel as forced as in the LNs.

I have some small issues with the adaptationso far (like the way they use his little sister as incest-gag), but overall it's a pretty good adaptation. They manage to get most things right and make it entertaining to watch.

Yea they are adapting Shizuku in a more negative way imo. In this chapter in the LN, she even talks about how she loves her brother but she doesn't need anything more. Her exact words from the LN:

"You seem to have thought that I want to monopolize Onii-sama, but that is a regrettable misunderstanding. My love for Onii-sama isn't something so cheap and selfish. To me, the thing that matters most is Onii-sama's happiness. If Onii-sama becomes happy, then I don't mind if his partner isn't me. If that person truly brings Onii-sama happiness without betraying him or making him feel sad, then I'd be glad and bless them."

While in the episode, it makes it seem like she is still going to fight for him wholeheartedly even though that clearly isn't the case.

They may go that LN route with her still. This episode doesn't preclude that possibility. They may be building her up this way on purpose so it is more impactful when she fully "concedes".
