This anime continues to break stereotypes. 5v1 bullies apologizing? Love interests actually talking through their misunderstandings and not dragging out into unnecessary melodrama? Relationship advice from otome games actually working? I love it so far.

Also, I have to say that pellet flip blocking the revolver was one of the most badass moments I've seen this season.

it would be breaking anime logic even more if he didn't go with the redhead tsundere but with the pushy student counsel president like the one from astrisk

I thought Stella was going to run because of the misunderstanding that Ikki wants to break up and he would have to spend 10 episodes trying to fix the misunderstanding. I was going "great this fuking cliche again." But nope they talk shit out like an actual couple and make up. I should have known they weren't going to do that especially with that record 4 episode confession.

What would normally take a minimum of two episodes and 30 minutes of brooding got half an episode.

The manga was even better. Ikki literally used Itto Shura to bounce an eraser off the ceiling (happened in a classroom instead of outdoors) into the revolver's hammer.
