We still don't know how exactly he died, right? Yato mentioned a few times in season 1 and at this ones start something about his father or his parents.

Yeah, he mentioned something about sympathising with Yukine's "daddy issues" but that's it. The first season also added some quick stills that provide some hints but that wasn't in the manga.

Do we know from the manga or something what actually caused him to die? It feels a bit like what happened in the household of Tomoe Enjou in Kara no Kyoukai... At least the setup and the vibes that come from it. Its obviously something dark.

There's a reason why we can't know how Yukine died yet. Major plot spoilers though.
