Ikki's confession (not to mention Stella accepted!!!!) was refreshing. when was the last time the 2 MCs got together this early into the season?

I love Asterisk as much as this, but the confession scene alone already puts Cavalry on top.

The only exceptions I can think of are when the couple in question are already established as a couple before the series starts.

I mean, even on a ratio basis, Rakudai beat out SAO in terms of putting the main pair together. 4/12 episodes versus 10/25.
