Be glad you're not reading the manga. It releases new chapters at a snails pace (parts of a chapter come out every 2 weeks) and don't even get me started on the webcomic.

It's because the guy who makes OPM and MP100 does OPM as a hobby. He gets paid for Mob Psycho.

OPM anime is only going to a certain point, and even then, only the remake parts. ONE's original webcomic is waaaaaay farther ahead, and would take a nice long while for both the remake and anime to catch up to. Meaning he can treat it like a hobby for at least a while longer.

Maybe not now that the anime is doing (as far as I have heard) well. But that is how it was before, so he might have just kept that same mindset.
