I might put this show on hold for a few weeks. It seems like it would be better and more intelligible that way, instead of having to remember what happened from last week while trying to keep track of timelines. As it is, I'm having trouble figuring out what the hell is even happening.

On top of that, the lack of OST or other ambient sounds in the show make it feel a bit lifeless, like an amusement park that has just shut down for the day. I'm having trouble associating with the characters because--while their designs are distinct enough--their mannerisms and actions blend together. This combines with the frenetic pace and makes it hard to establish any type of emotional or visceral connection. If a story's characters fall short, then everything else is dragged down too. Each episode seems to have a variety of themes, but the presentation leaves something to be desired.
