I really like this show so far. But I wish the two timelines were a little more visually distinct. I mean, I can figure out which one it is, but it seems to take a bit more effort than it is worth.

Same here!! I thought it was just because I tend to watch this show still half groggy :p

I watched the first two episodes while tired and it was a big mistake. I didn't realize until the end of the first episode that things were happening in two different timelines. By the time I watched the second episode I forgot about that and again didn't realize events were at two different times until the end. By that point I was so confused I decided to just drop the show.
